(JongIn's POV)

(2:00am 2 weeks later)

I woke up starving but was unsure of what to eat. Walking into the kitchen, I opened the cabinet and pulled down the oreos and the peanut butter. I then went to the fridge and got the pistachio ice cream. Mixing everything together in a bowl, I went to the living room and turned on the tv. I couldn't help but feel disgusted with myself.

"What is wrong with me?" For the millionth time that week, I began to cry. "JongIn?" Umma appears in the doorway. "Why are you up at this hour and what are you eating?" I shrugged. "Something is wrong with me." I couldn't control the tears that ran down my cheeks. She took the bowl from my hands and set it on the coffee table and she pulled me into a hug.

"Umma I don't like feeling like this. I don't know what to do?" She continued to rub my back in effort to stop my crying. "I'm going to send you to a friend of mine to see what's going on. Okay?" I nodded. "Hopefully she can see you today." Umma pulled me off the couch and turned off the tv. "Come on, you have to go to sleep." I followed her upstairs and to my room. "Goodnight JongIn." She kissed me on the cheek and walked away. "Night Umma."

(5:30 am)

"JongIn wake up!" TaeMin yelled slapping my back. I was already awake attempting to recover from my trip to the bathroom. "I'm not going today." I said still trying to catch my breath. "TaeMin-ah, he's not going today. I'm taking him to see Dr. Kwon today to see what's going on." Umma said, appearing with a cup of tea. I sat up and took the tea from her.

"From the way things are looking, it seems like some advanced version of the flu." Tae nodded. "But what about the strange things he has been eating?" I sipped the tea. The bitterness was like a kick in the mouth. I handed the cup back umma. "I figured that he was weird and it was finally showing through. Yah, drink the tea, it will settle your stomach." TaeMin laughed as he walked out the room.

"JongIn, I'll bring home your work." "You don't have too!" Umma flicked my head. "Get ready, we have to be there as she opens." she said leaving the room. I placed the tea down and went to take a quick shower and brush my teeth. After, I put on a black tee and grey sweats. Grabbing my phone, I walked downstairs, pulled on my all black nikes and went and sat in the car.

(At Dr. Kwon's office)

We walked into the office and a lady in her late 20s came out to greet us. "Boa, how good to see you again!" Umma said hugging her. "Same HaeRi unnie. I take this JongIn?" I stood up and introduced myself. "Annyeonghaseyo, JongIn imnida." I said bowing. "Nice to meet you JongIn, can you come in the back with me." I nodded and followed her into an exam room.

I sat up on the bed and umma sat down in a chair next to Boa noona. "So tell me what's been going on." "Umm, for the past three weeks, I have been struggling to keep food down, always tired, I have the strangest cravings and my emotions are all over the place." It sounded ridiculous out loud. "I think I know what maybe wrong, but I never experienced it in my few years of practice." Umma looked at her. "What do you think it is?" "I'm not going to say anything before confirming my suspicions. I'm gonna have to perform a couple of test first." She said.

She walked over to cabinet and took out a plastic cup. "I need you to pee in this and bring it back to me. The bathroom is down the hall to the left." I nodded and left the room. After doing my business, I came back into the room and handed the cup to her. She put in a machine then pulled out a needle and a tube.

My eyes widened seeing the needle. Umma quickly moved to my side and averted my gaze. "Afraid of needles?" Boa asked. I nodded as umma began to hum Davichi's 'Turtle' as Boa noona prepared the needle. "All done." She quickly put a band aid over the area where she blood from.

"Dr. Kwon, what are all these test for?" I asked. "I'm checking your hCG levels to make sure they are normal and..." she pulled the results from the urine test. "They are higher than normal." My mother gasped. 'I guess she understands.' I thought. "What does that mean?" "It means you're pregnant."
