Ouch

After Brooke and I shower we curl our hair, and put on simple makeup. Brooke wears a black and white striped halter top with a cardigan and shorts. I wear a high neck black tank crop top, and a black and white checkered skirt. Our own meet and greet starts at twelve thirty.
"Damn, we look good," Brooke winks at herself in the mirror.
I shrug, and I look down at my phone. Our Prank video uploaded ten minutes ago. The comments are insane, everyone's loving it.
"We should probably get going," I suggest.
"Oh my god! This is crazy! This video is going viral!" Brooke exclaims, "But yeah, we should probably go."
We exit our hotel room, and walk downstairs and next door back to the Convention Center. Brooke and I get noticed a few times as we walk down the big hallway crowded with people.
Suddenly a tall dark haired person bumps into me, and literally knocks me over. I fall to the ground right on my ass. Ouch. Embarrassing myself in front of everyone. The guy keeps walking.
"What the fuck?" Brooke squints.
"I'm okay," I shrug, standing up quickly.
"What. The. Fuck?" Brooke repeats again, louder this time, "Who the hell do you think you are? Get back here asshole!"
"It's fine, let's just go," I shake my head.
The boy stops and turns around, obviously hearing Brooke's rude remarks.
"Oh my god, did I just run into you? I'm so sorry!" He walks back to us.
I look at him closer. He looks a little like... Nash...? No, this guy is more attractive. Oh! It must be his less douchy little brother Hayes!
"It's fine, but we kinda need to be somewhere right now," I ignore who he is, and I try to pull Brooke away.
"No, I'm not gonna let this asshole get away with that," Brooke says through her gritted teeth.
"Wait... Aren't you two from SunBabes?!" Hayes asks, looking straight at me.
I look back at him, he has really pretty blue eyes. They remind me of the ocean. And then I notice I'm staring. Oops.
"Yes. I'm glad someone around here notices-" Brooke stops talking.
Hayes eyes are still on me. I bite my lip, he must realize I'm staring.
"Here, let me make it up to you, I'll take you out for dinner tonight. Where are you staying?" Hayes speaks up, a small smile forming on his face.
I look at Brooke for approval, and she gives me a slight nod. But, is Hayes like his brother? I'm certainly not interested in that.
"Eden Roc, it's right next door," I reply.
"Same!" Hayes says, "What's your number? I'll text you the deets."
He hands me his phone, and I type in my number.
"Come on Kate, we're gonna be late," Brooke says in a mocking tone.
"I'll see you tonight," Hayes grins at me.
He is actually pretty good looking. Scratch that, more than good looking, he's hot.
Brooke pulls me away just in time for us to make it to our meet and greet on time.
