"Brooke! Get up already!" I pull the cover off of Brooke the next morning.
Brooke groans loudly, and she grabs the covers back, pulling them over her head.
"Come on we don't have all day," I sigh.
Brooke throws a pillow at me. It misses me by only a foot. What the hell?
"Breakfast ends at 10:30 come on," I remind her.
Brooke pokes her head out of the sheets.
"Do they have muffins?" She smirks.
I nod, "Maybe they'll have some if you get up right now."
Brooke jumps out of bed. She puts on some flip flops, and she's out the door.
Well, that was easier than I had expected.
I follow closely behind Brooke as we get into the elevator.
"Why are you so dressed up?" Brooke questions me.
"Well I was waiting so long for you that I decided to get ready," I shrug.
She sighs loudly. Brooke is wearing black pajama pants and a San Diego University shirt. Another shirt she stole from Brianna. Wow.
I am wearing jeans and a white halter top. I'm not really that dressed up, but I'm also not wearing what she's wearing.
The elevator stops at the first floor. We step out, and follow the sweet aroma of breakfast foods.
Brooke runs to the counter full of food, and she starts taking multiple muffins.
Okay then, I guess I don't get any.
Brooke leaves only blueberry muffins. Probably because they're the only ones she hates. I take two. I also take eggs and hash browns. The table we sit at is right in the middle of a lot of other people.
Brooke silently eats her muffins.
I'm casually eating my eggs, when I hear someone scream.
"Nash!" A girl exclaims.
Brooke and I both turn around to see a girl clinging to Nash. Nash looks to us in panic. Brooke laughs to herself.
"Kate!" I hear a familiar voice say.
Brooke's eyes widen, she has muffin in her mouth. She points past me.
I turn and see a smiling Hayes looking right at me.
"Hayes!" I jump out of my seat, and I run up to Hayes, hugging him tightly.
He hugs me back even tigher, picking me up and spinning me around.
"Good morning beautiful," Hayes sets me down gently.
I smile up at him. He is very tall.
"Good morning," I grin back.
"I got to see you before I could even text you," Hayes bites his lips, smiling.
His eyes are really blue today. They themselves encapture me.
"Your eyes are really pretty," I say without thinking, "Oh! I mean........"
"Thank you," Hayes interupts, "Yours are too."
I hear faint laughter in the distance. I turn around to see that Cameron Dallas has taken my spot. It looks as if Brooke is even sharing a muffin with him. Damn, she doesn't even share muffins with me. Let alone that low life.
"Looks like Cam found Brooke," Hayes remarks.
"Did you know about this?" I question him.
Hayes shrugs for a second. I look into his eyes, his eyes look away from me.
"Umm... no....." He says nervously.
I look at him some more.
"Okay, okay fine. But I still do wanna hang out with you. You wanna go?" Hayes asks, intertwining our fingers.
"Shouldn't I go tell Brooke?" I suggest, starting to walk towards the table.
"Nah, looks like Cam's got that covered," Hayes winks.
Oh shit. He's right.
I shrug, "Okay."
We walk out into the lobby, and Hayes seems to be closer than necessary, but I don't mind.
"What would you like to do?" He asks me.
I think for a minute. Hmm. What is there to do here? Oh! I know just the thing.
"How about we do something... spontaneous."
