Bella's POV

I sat on the Cullen's couch with my arms wrapped around my legs. I wasn't depressed or anything, I was just thinking about everything that had happened in the past week. I had reunited with a childhood friend, a psycho zombie had tried to kidnap me, and my father had been murdered. Not your typical week.

My thoughts were interrupted by a pillow which had been aimed at me by Rosalie. I glared at her, "What is your problem?!"

She glared right back. "I could ask you the same thing. Bella, get off the couch. You have been sitting there for hours. Go and do something!"

"Can't I grieve here in peace?" Okay, maybe I was a bit depressed.

"No." Was the curt reply.

"Fine." I abruptly got up.

"Where are you going?"

"If I can't grieve here then I'll grieve somewhere else, MUM." Maybe a little more depressed than first thought.

On my way out I bumped in to Edward. I blushed bright red. Hadn't I already learned it was stupid to act human? "Oops. Sorry Edward."

"It's okay. Bella, I was wondering... Will you come with me? I have something to show you."

"Okay."

We walked down to the front door. Once outside, he threw me on his back and began running.

"Wh- where are we going?" I said in confusion, still trying to process what happened.

"It's a secret." Edward smirked.

Before long, we had reached a beautiful meadow deep with in the forest. There were dozens of pretty wildflowers and lush green grass. The sunlight gently filtered though the trees. A sight like this lifted my spirits higher than they had been in ages.

"This..!" I struggled for words, "This is amazing!"

"I'm glad you like it- I found it one day while hunting. I stayed here for ages." He walked into the sunlight and he sparkled. It was awe- inspiring. I soon realised that he was now motioning for me to sit next to him. Uh-oh.

"Edward, I'm a ghost... It hurts when I go into the su-" But he cut me off by giving me a gentle tug. I cringed and waited for the stinging to start, but it didn't come.

"What? Why doesn't it sting?" I asked in wonder. I looked over at Edward and he was grinning.

"I heard an old legend. Apparently, if a ghost is in the same place with someone from their human life then the sun will not hurt them." He said, still grinning.

"I've never heard that before but it seems to make sense." I shrugged and walked to where he had been sitting before.

We sat there for hours and hours talking, laughing and just enjoying each other's company. I never wanted to leave the meadow again!

Alright, I'll admit, it's a shorty. But you would not believe the writer's block I am going through. The next one may take a while but I'll make it really good, I promise.

Could all of this have something to do with me slowly not being so obsessed with it anymore?! Anyway, vote, comment and fan! Lozzpozz out!
