chapter 11

"This is soo good!" I moaned as i took another bite of the burger i ordered. No, i was not at burger king. Sasuke took me to a restaurant, which was not too fancy. It was a nice restaurant; a bit vintage kind of restaurant which i love. It's called Haikoi's paradise.

"I know right? This is my favourite restaurant to eat this kind of food" sasuke said. He ordered fish and chips with a side dish of mashed potato and veggies.

"I think this will be my favourite too!" I said, grinning. Yep, its official that this is my fav place to eat. Sasuke smile and nodded.

After we finished, we decided to take a walk to the park; yes, that park. We made small conversation along the way. We talked about things at school and how his studies are going. When we reached there, we sat at a bench, just enjoying the view and nice weather; not too hot, not too cold. It was a bit windy.

"So, sasuke" i said, "i've never get to know this, What do you want to be when you grow up?"

"Well.. i've always wanted to be a businessman or maybe a pilot" he said. "You?"

"A nurse or a doctor. I've been studying medical and stuff related to that...." i said sadly. I started to study medical a year ago because Tsunade-sama agreed to train me. Tsunade-sama is a friend of our principal at school and she is a sucessful doctor at Konoha Hospital.

"But...?" Sasuke said. I turned to him and raised my eyebrow.

"But what?" I asked, confused.

"You sounded like you're not sure and.. sad. Is there anything else you're keeping?" He said. Crap, he's smart.

I sighed and looked down to my shoes. Guess i have to spill it out. "My dad owns a company. Now that he died and im his only child, i have to take his place after i graduate. I'm glad that i can take his place but.. it's just not my thing, im not great at handling a company but at the same time i don't want to disappoint my father. I-I don't know what to do. I want my dad to be p-proud of me" i said, tears fell down my cheeks. Jeez, im such a crybaby.

My cousin is handling the company at the moment. After i graduate, i will have to work there. My cousin will show me how.

I was shocked when Sasuke pulled me into a hug, rubbing my back. He didn't say anything because i knew that he understood what i said.

He understands me.

He pulled away and i wiped my tears away and thanked him. "You know, Sakura.." sasuke said and i looked at him. He placed his hand on my shoulder. "i bet, whatever you do, whatever you choose what you want to be in the future, your father will be proud of you no matter what"

I had to hold back tears. Sasuke's word were sweet and meaningful. It's rare to hear this from him because he doesn't talk much.

This is the sasuke that i know.

"T-Thanks, Sasuke. We'll see in the future.." i sighed.

We sat in silence for a few minutes.

"Sakura..." Sasuke said, his voice was low. I turned to face him. He was looking down at his shoes.

"Yes?" I said, my voice was low too. It felt like as if we were whispering. Then, he raised his head to look at me and sighed.

"You accepted my apology, right?" He asked and i nodded.

"Well... c-can we... um... you know... i- we-" he sighed in frustration, "how should i say this?" He said, talking to himself.

"What is it, Sasuke?"

He turned to face me again. This time, he was staring at me with a sad face. "C-Can we be best friends like w-we used to before? Im sorry.. i just-... i miss us hanging out together..." He said.

I was surprised honestly but happy at the same time. He wanted us to be best friends like before... like when we were little. He says that he misses us hanging out; just like what best friends would do. I admit, i miss him too.

I gave him a smile, "Of course, Sasuke." I said. He took a deep breath and grinned. Suddenly, he pulled me into a hug and i gasped. That was so sudden.

"Thank you," he whispered and hugged me tightly. I chuckled and pat his back and i whispered back,

"Welcome back, Uchiha"
