chapter 3

Naruto and I ran as fast as we could. Soon, we arrived at my house. It was quiet and i slowly walked in with Naruto behind me. I walked to the living room but no one was there. I heard my mom crying upstairs so i ran up and went to my parents' room. As soon as i walked in, i gasped. My eyes and my mouth was open.

In the room there was my dad on the floor full of blood with a knife on his back; he was stabbed, and my mom was on the bed, crying. staring at my mom then at my dad, tears fell down my cheeks.

"It wasn't m-me. A g-group of guys- they- came i-in-" my mom paused and cried hard. I dropped to my knees and cried on my palms.

My dad is dead.

And someone killed him.

Naruto sat next to me and pulled me to his chest. My heart broke. I love my dad so much. How could someone kill him. He was such a nice person and friendly. He would always be the cheery one. He would never be sad eventhough i know that in the inside he would be sad but he never show it. He would never scold anyone if they're doing their job wrongly. He is such a great person. Why? Why would they kill him?

I cried so hard. I've never cried so hard like this before. Not even when the time Sasuke pushed me away.

Grabbing on Naruto's shirt, i screamed as tears kept falling on my cheeks. I felt guilty because i was crying on Naruto's shirt but i just can't help it.

FLASHBACK

"Daddy, look!" I said to him while holding the skirt of my new dress. My dad bought it for me by the way. He was sitting on a bench as we were outside at the backyard. He smile, "You look beautiful, sweetie" he said and ruffled my hair.

"Here's some tea" my mom said as she placed a tray of teas on the small table. She pick me up and place me on the bench in the middle; My mom, me and my dad.

"Thank you for the dress, daddy" i said with a wide grin. He smile and nodded, "Anything for you, princess. Happy birthday!" then he pulled me into a hug and i hug him back. Every once in a while he would always give me a tight hug and i can feel the father-daughter love.

"I want to join" my mom pouted and join the hug. Ahh famile group hug felt great. You can feel the bond we share.

"I love you" my dad whispered and tears fell down my cheek as i whispered back, "i love you too, daddy"

PRESENT

Naruto rub my back and whispered words that i can barely hear. He then grabbed his phone and call the ambulance and maybe the police. Half an hour later, they came and took my dad away. The polices asked questions to my mom while me and Naruto sat on the couch in the living room. I was still sobbing and Naruto had his hands around my waist, hugging me and trying to calm me down. He's such a great friend.

"Alright, ma'am. We'll investigate this tomorrow. Let us do the report tonight, okay? Get some rest, ma'am" and then the police left. My mom closed the door and wanted to walk upstairs but stop when she reach to the living room. She stare at me and i stare at her back.

"I'll.... tell you about this later, okay? I'm just... tired. Good night sweety and you too, Naruto" she said then left. I heard her sobbing as she walked up the stairs. Me and Naruto stayed in our position for an hour. I was crying and crying then an hour later i stop.

I wipe my tears and pulled Naruto away slowly. I smile at him, "Thank you, Naruto... for everything.. and i'm sorry about your shirt" i said and point at his shirt which is now full of my tears.

"You're welcome and it's fine, really." He patted my shoulder and stood up. He grabbed my hand and pulled me to stand up.

"Before i go home, i want you to go to sleep now" he said and pulled me upstairs. I frowned and tried to pull his hand away but i failed.
