Chapter Eight

 Loquacious

Her little body laid, on her back. Her body was bruised, and revolting. Moore stared at the beautiful little girl. Alice could't look no more. Her eyes filled with tears, she turned around, and the sobs bursted out. Moore knelt down on one knee, and brushed the leaves aside, He looked at Caylee's beautiful face. Her eyes where open, reveling a blue and green eye. Moore looked away for a brief second. Alice turned around. Moore closed the girls eyes, and took a deep breath in. Moore looked at her face then moved down slowly to her ankles, he lifted up her left foot. When he did a quite shriek came out. He looked at Alice, his eyes where red.

He's holding back the tears.

Moore closes his eyes. He sets her tiny foot down. He stands up slowly. Still staring at her ankles, Moore gets his words out

"She had Heterochromia iridum."

Alice smiles.

" Yeah, such pretty eyes, such a pretty little girl." Moore adds

Alice didn't want to say anything, she could't. Caylee Willow was her little sister. She already could tell, Moore noticed it too. That this beautiful little girl would grow up to look just like Alice. Moore slipped off his gloves, and looked up at Alice.

" She was thrown out like garbage." Moore quietly spoke under his breath.

Alice still couldn't get her words out. Moore releases a loud breath. He kneels back down, he brings his face down to Caylee, he whisperers something, Alice could't hear. She didn't question. Moore walks off. The medical examiner watched them this whole time, he finally walks up to Alice. He slightly nods. His dark dark black hair merely falling in front of his eyes, his face was unshaven, he had a long face, and a pointy jaw, and light brown eyes.

"Any questions?"

Alice shook her head. She sighed " Did she suffer?"

The man looked down, he took a deep breath in, that seemed to last forever.

He looked back at Alice.

" Yeah." He fell silent, he closed his eyes and opened them, revealing teary eyes

Alice could't speak no more, she nodded " Thank you."

" I will call you if anything comes up important," He paused and looked at Caylee

" When I think you could already guessed what happened."

"You know my number."

Alice knew exactly what he was talking about, she didn't need to question. She nods, and walks off. If only she could remember the way they came in. She would be out of the forest already. When Alice gave up, a voice called out from a distance.

"Alice."

Alice looked up to see Moore standing by a tall tree, with a man wearing a black suit, he had dark brown hair, his face was shaved, and he stood much taller then Moore. When she approached the two of them, Alice saw more features of the man, his dark brown eyes, his broad shoulders, but the thing that caught her eye the most was the scar under his right eye, that went at and angle down towards his nose. The scar was very small but would be easly caught by anyone.

"Alice." He paused and raised his eyes brows, his eyes where still red.

"This is my partner Joe Hiemer."

Joe brought out his hand. Alice took it.

"Nice to meet you." His voice was very deep and he sounded irritated.
