Chapter 2

Your P.O.V

The meeting with the Hokage concluded. 'After many days of walking a bowl of hot ramen is just what I need.' I think happily as I pat my stomach. We started walking to a nearby ramen shop. Once there we sat down and began to order. As we waited for our food Kakashi-sensei cleared his throat. "So Y/n tell us about yourself." "That means your hopes and dreams, likes and dislikes!" Sakura says. "I could've guessed that. I suppose I can tell you. I am Y/n Kurino I don't like much of anything or anyone. For my dreams I have none and if I did I wouldn't share them with you. However I do have one goal in life. To make my sister feel what I felt the night she took everything from me." "I see." Said Kakashi nodding. I looked down at my hands and sighed, failing to notice the pair of onyx eyes looking at me. Once our food arrived we began to eat in silence, but it progressively got louder the more Naruto slurped his food.  "Sluuuuurp!" "Slurp!" "Do you mind! Naruto!" I exclaim slightly annoyed. I didn't even bother to finish eating I put my money on the table and left.

Naruto's P.O.V 

I gulp nervously "Did I do something wrong?" I said confused. "Obviously dobe. You inhale your food!" Sasuke snapped standing up. "Hn. I'm done eating I'm going to train." Afterwards he payed and left. "I'll come to-" Sakura began. "No I train alone."  He said and headed towards the training grounds. Sakura glared at me angrly. "Ugh! This is all your fault you ruined my time with Sasuke. Not to mention made our new teammate upset!" Sakura huffed and walked away. "But I didn't mean to." I said sadly and looked down at my empty bowl of ramen. Kakashi looked at me putting his hands on my shoulders. "Naruto why don't you go train too. You could show Y/n what I taught you guys so far." Kakashi-sensei said trying to cheer me up. 

"That's a great idea! Thanks Kakashi-sensei!" I payed for my meal then headed for the training grounds. When I get there I see Y/n throwing strange weapons into a target. "Y/n-chan! I'm sorry!" I run up to her. She looks at me she has a very faint smile on her face. "Its fine Naruto. I've just had a very long day. Do you wanna see something cool?" Y/n asked. "Heck yeah!" I gave her a smile.  "Hold out your hand then." I do as she says and a small green vine wraps around my fingers. "Eh!" I was about to shake it off but her hand stopped me. "Stop don't move Naruto it won't hurt you." Y/n says gently. "O-Ok." I blush deeply.  As it wraps around my hand it blooms into the most beautiful flower I've ever seen. "I-Its beautiful Y/n. How did you do this?" I smile at her. "It's a special technique I'm learning. I can only do small things right now." She looked at the flower and chuckled. "It will stay alive for as long as I live and its yours to keep." I never noticed how lovely her eyes look in the sunlight. The peaceful silence was broken when a kunai landed extremely close to Naruto's head.  It was Sasuke.
