Chapter 9

Ok that was tough to read. I have never cringed so much in my life this is gonna be a huge pain to edit. I'm just gonna fix it so like Naruto doesn't find ya'll like immediately. I think you and Sasuke need more time alone before he confesses and alllllllllll that. I am just speechless at my awful writing please understand that I was 17 when I wrote this GaRbAgE and hopefully it will be easier to read and less cringe worthy.

Y/n P.O.V

Super big time skip till y'all is 16

It's almost midnight as I slowly creep to the door that lead out of the hide out. I was trying to go for a walk alone. As I passed what I thought was an empty hallway a voice spoke from the darkness. "Where are you going?" 'Crap! He saw me.' "Out for a walk if that's not illegal now." I snap at him. "I'll come with you then." Sasuke says calmly. "No I'll be fine I want to walk alone." I look at him. "No Y/n. What if Naruto finds you or someone else?" Sasuke argues back. "Ugh you always do this Sasuke. Every time I want to do something on my own you insist on following me! Even when you say you'll stay behind and let me be alone. I always sense your chakra! I'm not a child that needs your constant supervision!" I shout back putting my hands on my hips. "Y/n." Sasuke's sad voice makes me soften slightly. "What?" "Just let me go with you. I won't bother you about going alone again okay?" I let out a sign and nod he gives me a small smile. We head out together jumping from tree to tree. I hear a rushing stream near by and began heading towards it. The dense trees of the forest dissipate. Cherry blossom trees came into view and we started to go on foot from there. 

3rd Person

The wind blew through the trees slightly causing the blossoms to fall into the stream below. The moon glowed above the her as she sat down on the soft grass.  "It's a beautiful night isn't it Sasuke?" She asked looking away from the moon and turning her attention to the raven who was leaning against a cherry blossom tree. He nodded crossing his arms. "I didn't mean to get angry with you Sasuke. I've just been having a difficult time." She mumbled and started playing with the grass between her fingers letting it grow and shrink using her chakra. "You um can tell me about it if you want." Sasuke said looking away from her. She gave a small chuckle at his action. "I left the village to become stronger. I left to accomplish my goal...but I feel like I'm not as close as I'd hoped. Yes I'm stronger than I was but not enough to face my sister." Sasuke sat next to her and put his hand on hers. "Y/n I know it's tough being away from the village. I know you miss everyone. But that isn't your home anymore, your home is here...with me. I know that if we stay on this path we can finally get our revenge. Your sister, my brother. We understand each other Y/n." She looked at him seeing the stars reflecting in his onyx eyes. The world was silent and the two sat there staring into to each others eyes. "I'm sorry if I get overprotective. I just want to protect you." Sasuke says as he puts a hand on her cheek his thumb gently running across it. "And...I've been meaning to say this for the longest time. I love you Y/n." He then closed the gap between them into a passionate kiss. She felt all the emotion behind it and kissed back without hesitation. Time seemed to stop. They pulled apart both slightly red in the face. Not long after they we're getting ready to head back to the hide out. The comfortable silence was broken when footsteps approach them at a quick pace. 

"Y/n! Sasuke! I found you!" Naruto bursts through the trees and pulls them both into a big hug. "I've come to escort you both back to the Leaf Village! And uh I will do it by force if necessary so um you better come peacefully!" Sasuke and Y/n stepped back from the blonde. The h/l h/c haired girl chuckled and shook her head. "I'm happy to see that smile of yours hasn't changed my friend." Naruto gave her a big grin and poke his chest with his thumb. "If you couldn't tell I'm a Lot stronger now ya know!" "I'm going Sasuke...and I want you to come with me." Y/n said and extended her hand towards the raven. He looked at it his eyes filled with conflicted emotions.

Sasukes P.O.V

I looked at her hand and froze. 'What should I do? I don't want to go back but at the same time I do.' I'm angry Naruto found us so easily. I clinched my fists as thoughts ran through my head. 'Why Now?!' 'Why am I the smallest bit relieved he found us?!' I just wanted to scream in frustration as I looked into Y/n's e/c eyes. She had a pleading look on her face as she kept her hand out for me. 'No. I can't leave her. Especially not with him.' I looked over to Naruto who had a determined look on his face. I grabbed Y/n's hand tightly and we began to make our way to the village. 

Time skip

Narutos P.O.V

It took three days to reach the village and the journey there was mostly silent no matter how hard I tried to start a conversation with my team. 'After four long years Y/n and Sasuke are coming home!' I thought happily as I stared at Y/n. 'She looks more mature and is more beautiful than I remembered.' "Want to go eat some ramen Y/n you must be starving I know I am!" I say patting my stomach. When she didn't speak I gave her a concerned look. "Y/n come on we're finally here after walking for three days. Please for me?" She looks up and puts a small smile on her face. "Alright Naruto. Let's get some ramen." She spoke softly. "I'm coming too! Well if um Sasuke is going." Sakura says her face turning red. "Of course he's coming! I bet he's hungry too ya know! It'll be just like old times!" I beam happily.

At the Ramen shop

I slurp down the last of the pork broth. "So good!~ Ickirau ramen is the best!" I burp putting on a satisfied smile. Everyone finished eating after awhile chatting here and there. "Hey uh Y/n Sasuke?" They both look up turning towards me. "I-I brought these for you." I say grabbing their old head bands out of my pocket. There eyes widen a little Y/n gently reaches over and grabs hers rubbing her thumb across the symbol. "I've been keeping them safe for when you came back." Y/n smiled and I gave them a big goofy grin as they put them on. 'Just like the old days...'
