Chapter 11

This was an ABOMINATION of a chapter. I'm sorry but I'm rewriting this. I will add a very small xItachi thing for the fans out there. Cause like he do be fine doe (>_>)

Y/n POV

It had been nearly a week since our return to the village. I have had so much on my mind I couldn't even focus on my training. It was late at night and I was walking in the woods that surrounded the leaf. I started kicking a rock that was along the path and I heard thunder above me. 'Great it's going to rain.' I sighed and shook my head. Not that I really minded the rain that much it was calming to me. My walk was stopped short by a figure looming ahead. "Long time no see Y/n." The chakra was all to familiar. "What do you want Itachi? If its about Naruto or Sasuke forget it." I said harshly. He chuckles his red eyes staring at me with interest. "Relax I'm not here for my little brother, or the nine tails." I glare at him and form an ice blade in my hand.

3rd Person

Itachi looked amused when he saw the blade in her hand. 'Let's see what she's made of.' He charges towards her at incredible speed. She dodged just in time and swings down her blade only for it to miss. Or so she thought she stepped back several paces and stared at his feet not wanting to make eye contact. Itachi touched his cheek where tiny droplets of blood began to form. "I see so you have made some progress. But it's not much. I have to say that I am disappointed in you Y/n." She growled slightly. "Disappointed huh? C'mon then Itachi Uchiha! I'll kick your ass no problem." He smirked seeing her ready herself for the fight. The ice blade in her hand transformed in to a large and deadly looking scythe. She launched her body forward swinging the blade down with incredible force. Just as she was about to hit him he burst into a flock of crows. The tree he was leaning on was split down the middle. She closed her eyes and focused her breathing. 'Use the earth to sense him. He couldn't have gone far.' She took a deep breath and used her chakra to feel the world around her. 'Behind me!' Before she was able to dodge a kunai was pressed in her throat. Itachi pressed his body against hers. His breath tickling her ear. "You are still weak Y/n. Just like Sasuke, you don't have enough resolve or hatred." 

Y/n POV

I froze at the kunai being held to my neck. I knew he wouldn't kill me or at least I hoped he wouldn't. "I'm not going to harm you so don't worry." Itachi says softly. The wind blew through the trees as it began to rain. "I had orders to check your progress Y/n. Now that I have I think we're done here." His lips grazed my neck before he disappeared. 'Creep.' I shook my head and let the scythe I was holding melt into a puddle. I walked back home with dark thoughts racing through my head.
