About an hour later a nurse knocked so softly on the door. She was there to discharge Taylor. She un clipped the monitor for the baby's heartbeat and removed Taylor's IV. Asking Taylor how she was feeling. "Much better, thank you" replied Taylor. She didn't want to give out to much information, she didn't know her and wasn't sure of her intentions. Adam saw the hesitation to such a simple question on Taylor's face, he gave her hand a small squeeze. He wished that it didn't have to be like this, but she had every reason not to completely trust people. He hadn't even thought about if their hospital trip had made it into the papers. He was sure that Taylor had, she always thought of things like that.

"Alright guys, you are good to go." Said the nurse, giving them permission to leave. "Remember to keep your next appointment with your OBGYN, okay?" . Taylor nodded and Adam thanked her. Once she had left Adam helped Taylor to sit up. He turned her toward him so that her back was facing him and he could untie her hospital gown. He placed a feather light kiss on the back of her neck as he slipped the gown off of her and slipped her shirt gently over her head. He walked around to the other side of the bed so that he was facing her. She smiled at him, "so a little girl, huh?" Adam smiled back at her leaning in to press a light kiss to her lip his hands on either side of her legs. She smiled into the kiss, "mmhm" she mumbled into the kiss. "I guess we get to start thinking about names, how about Calvin or Adam" he said with a wink. "Oh yes, such great options for a little girl." She said sarcastically shaking her head lightly at him.

"Alright, I'm ready to get home, can you help me with my sweatpants please babe?" Asked Taylor. "Absolutely" replied Adam as he slipped them over her knees and then lifted her from under her arms to help her stand so that he could pull them up to her waist. "Alright babe, sit back down, I'm gonna grab a wheelchair for you." "Oh Adam"complained Taylor, "that's really not necessary." Adam didn't reply he just motioned to the wheelchair he had brought back into the room. "Your chariot awaits miss swift" Taylor just rolled her eyes at him but complied as he gently helped her into the chair, kissing the top of her head. "Ready babe?" asked Adam. "Oh yes" replied Taylor.

Adam wheeled Taylor around, trying to find the elevator. After a few minutes Taylor turned her head to look at him. "Babe, are we lost? Maybe we should ask someone where the exit is?" "No we aren't lost, just a little, uh, turned around" was Adams response. "Oh there" he said pointing to a sign that was labeled NURSERY, "we passed that on our way to the room" he said as he began to wheel her in that direction. Suddenly Taylor let out a light gasp " oh Adam look" she whispered. They had ended up right in front of the nursery and there were at least twenty new born babies all lined up, as cute as could be. "They are so cute" mumbled Taylor. Her hand unconsciously traveling to her belly. "We will have our own soon enough" said Adam. "Our perfect little girl." He winked at her.

Taylor was over come with emotion at the sight of all the babies. It became real to her in that moment. In a little over five months she would be a mother to a baby girl. She would be all hers and she would love her forever. With tears in her eyes she reached for Adams hand and held on tight as he wheeled her toward the elevator and then out of the hospital into the warm sun. He parked the wheel chair and put on the break while he got the car and pulled it around. In the middle of the night while Taylor was asleep he had moved it into the parking deck. Once Adam pulled around he gently helped taylor over to the car. "Do you want to lay down in the back love?" He asked gently. "I'm okay with the front, thanks babe." Replied Taylor. Adam opened the passenger side door and held her arm as she slipped into the seat. He leaned in and pulled her seat belt around her and buckled it in. Taylor leaned in and kissed him gently. "I love you" she said, gazing into his eyes. "I love you to, and I love our daughter so much. You are going to make an amazing mom" he squeezed her hand as he gently closed the door and climbed in on the drivers side and started the car.

They held hands the entire ride home, just resting them on the middle console. Adam turned on the radio and he and Taylor hummed along. Soon they were home. Adam parked the car in the front and helped Taylor out. He supported her as they walked inside. He gently helped her over to the couch where she laid down with a sigh. She was exhausted. As she was falling asleep she mumbled to Adam "stay." "I'm not going anywhere love, I'll be here when you wake up" Adam said as he pushed a piece of her hair behind her ear. "No" mumbled taylor. "Stay forever, move in." She was almost asleep but there was a smile on her lips. She knew exactly what she was asking him. As a response Adam pressed a gently kiss on her lips and held her hand. She was already asleep, sure of his answer. She had just wanted to make it official. Adam silently grabbed some water from the kitchen as to not wake Taylor. He made his way back to the living room where he sat down on the far end of the couch and pulled Taylor's legs onto his lap.

Taylor had been asleep almost all day, it was late after noon when she woke up. Her phone was buzzing like crazy. She sleepily reached for it on the coffee table. She unlocked it and scrolled through her messages. "Oh no"'she groaned. Adam immediately appeared, he hadn't been far from her that while day. "What's wrong babe?" Panic in his voice. " the paparazzi got pictures of you carrying me into the hospital last night." She said with a sigh. "They are all over the internet and my friends and other people are freaking out." She just shook her head. "All I wanted was privacy" she said, getting visibly upset by this violation of her privacy. Adam sat down on the couch next to her and pulled her in for a hug, she rested her head on his shoulder and tucked her legs underneath him as he rubbed her back. "It'll all work out love, I promise." Taylor just sighed into his shoulder. Looking up at him she said "maybe we should make an announcement that I'm fine and the baby is fine so people don't worry." She suggested.

"Okay love, good idea" Taylor began to open tumblr, but Adam quickly grabbed the phone from her. "But I'm going to handle it, you just need to relax." at this Taylor collapsed back onto his shoulder, she was glad he was going to handle it, she didn't think she could handle it right now, emotionally or physically. By the time Adam was done typing out a post saying that they had a scare but that both Taylor and the baby were healthy Taylor had fallen back asleep, her head resting on his chest and her arms wrapped around his waist.

She woke up later that night around dinner time to Adam placing a hot plate of stir fry and chicken in front if her on the coffee table. "Hey look whose up, I made some dinner if you are hungry" offered Adam. Still groggy but coherent enough Taylor nodded at him and reached for the plate and balanced it on her lap as she began to eat. Adam sat down next to her and she scooted over so that her legs were resting against his. They ate in silence, both emotionally exhausted from the previous nights events. Finally Taylor spoke up, "so I kinda had an idea"'she started "I know that you said you would move in with me but what if we found a place that was ours? Not mine not yours, but ours... And a house in a more kid friendly place ya know?" She looked at him, unsure of what his reaction was going to be. She understood it was a lot to take on, a pregnant girlfriend, a move, new baby and she didn't want to overwhelm him.

"I think that's a great idea" he smiled deeply at her, "our place, our home, I like the sound of it" she said as he leaned in and kissed her. "Really?" She squealed. She was thrilled! She had been thinking about this for the past few weeks. The idea had first popped into her mind when she drove past a house with a for sale sign in the front yard on her way to a meeting. There were bikes haphazardly placed in the yard and she could hear the gleeful screams of children echoing from the backyard. In that moment she knew that's what she wanted. A house full of kids, Adam, and maybe even a dog, she thought with a laugh. Her life was playing out much differently than she thought it would. Pregnant, but not married, but she was with the man she would love forever. And she was okay with it. She loved Adam, she loved her daughter, and she loved her life. And that was enough for her.
