After twenty minutes, we finally arrived at the airport.

That horrible feeling of guilt and of dread was literally killing me.
Michael was still very upset and I was regretting my actions.

It was torture.
I was so angry with myself, so full of remorses, if only he knew.

I missed him.

I missed Michael.

That Michael I knew so well. But the one I was watching right now, the one sitting on the passenger seat and looking through the window, it wasn't him.
Every time our stares crossed, and that his cold gaze met mine, I felt my heart shattering a little bit more inside my chest.

« It's my fault. Everything is my fault. God... Moon what the hell have you done ? »

I got out of the car and followed Michael and Bill, who were now quietly walking towards the airport.

Nobody was around, I supposed that he had the time to let the people in charge of the airport know that he was coming.
I wasn't wrong : As soon as we entered the building, a woman, tall, blonde with a pair of big blue eyes and wearing a dark blue suit, came to us, almost running.

She looked at Michael dead in the eyes and she had a simulated smile plastered on her face.
" Mister Jackson ! We were waiting for you. I will lead you to your jet without further delay. " she said, with a fake voice.

I groaned discreetly, thank God nobody heard me, but that little stuck-up Madam was seriously getting on my nerves, and now wasn't the good time to make me upset.

« " Mister Jackson, we were waiting for you..." Yeah and the two dudes standing next to him, what the hell are they ? Some types of decoration ? Nobody taught her to say "hello" ? I hope she's staying here because if she's coming with us, on that jet, I'm not sure she will keep that pretty little barbie head on her shoulders much longer... »

I sighed while I was still following Michael, Bill, and Miss-Bitch-1986 in a long hallway.

How could that man acquire the capacity of making me so sensitive and emotional ?

Especially me...
I always act in cool blood, usually, and I've never lost my nerves in such a dramatic way before. I always had an exemplary behavior when it came to feelings.
It's something I get from my father.
Well, when you marry a woman like Marine, my step-mother, you certainly have to act in cool blood even in the worst kind of situations, because if you don't, then the murder seems assured.

I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't notice that we were already in the jet, and that I was now sitting on a seat.

" Moon ? "

Bill's voice snapped me out of my reverie. I gave him a confused look and he smiled down at me :

" Fasten your seatbelt sweetie, we're getting ready for the take-off. "

I did as I was told, without saying a single word, and looked around me. It was a really pretty jet, with some cream leather sofas as seats. They were gathered in little groups of four with a small table between them. Bill and I were sitting on the same table.

« And of course, knowing Michael, he will not sit with us, I suppose...»

And after some seconds, I noticed with regrets that I was right. Michael came into the jet but sat as far from us as he could. He stayed there, wearing his pair of black Ray Ban Wayfarer, looking through the window.

I sighed once again and reported my attention to Bill, who gave me a weak smile and sighed as well.

" Moon... Don't worry, he won't stay angry forever, you know ? "

" No Bill... This situation isn't common. He killed a man and he did it because of me. I understand the fact that he is angry at me...And, what I said to him before didn't help neither..." I said, playing nervously with my hair, trying to fight that feeling of frustration that was overwhelming me slowly.
