Chapter 7

River POV

Today was my first day back to school after 2 weeks of being suspended.

Kyle woke me up as usual. No just was not ready to deal with people today, but Kyle would get pissed if I didn't go.

So I got up, got in the shower, and got dressed.

I grabbed my back pack and headed down stairs.

Kyle was standing at the bottom of the stairs waiting for me.

He looked up when he heard me coming down.

He smiled and walked toward the door and out to the car.

I followed behind him and entered the car.

I buckled my seat belt and Kyle drove off.

"You gonna be good today?" He asked softly

I nodded my head.

"Good, I'll be home late tonight, I have a lot to do." He said and I just nodded

Me and him haven't really been talking much lately cause we got into a huge fight and I didn't wanna deal with him.

He pulled up to the school and went into a parking spot.

He turned off the car and got out, he had to go in and we had to talk to a guidance counselor.

He handed my phone and my headphones.

"I get those back at the end of the day." he told me and I nodded

We entered the school office and day down and waited to be called in.

The school counselor walked out and she told us to come in.

She sat at her desk and me and Kyle sat across from her.

"So do you have all your school work done?" She questioned with a smile on her face

I nodded and handed her all my work and she smiled happily.

"So do you have any concerns?" She asked my brother

"I just don't want her getting into any fights." he said to her

She nodded

"Well we are going to be keeping a close eye on her and the other girl that started the problem." She told Kyle

He nodded and smiled

"Okay well you better get to class. If you need anything you can come in anytime. It was nice to meet you Kyle." she said

Kyle nodded and walked out

He stopped me.

"Stay out of trouble. If any one says anything to you about anything, call me okay?" He said

I nodded

He leaned down and gave me a hug and a kiss on the forehead

"I love you" he said

"I love you too" I told him and let go

He walked out and then I started to walk to class.

I put my headphones in and put on 'Gang' By Lil Reese

I turned it up pretty loud and walked to my locker and put my bag in there.

I walked to my first class and sat down at my desk.

I didn't care about school at this point. I just sleep during class and then go home and sleep some more.

I was just done with people at this point.

As I looked up I saw Alana and her crew look at me and point and laugh.

I just ignored them and turned my music louder.

I just kept thinking that I needed to be good so Kyle wouldn't get mad at me.

The teacher yelled at me and told me to take my headphones out so Itook one out so I could hear him.

I put on 'Young Man' By MGK And Chief Keef

Alana sat next to me just to piss me off.

And she sat there saying shit under there breath.

'Slut'

'Whore'

'Bitch'

The teacher walked out to take a phone call and she looked at me.

"So you know what I find interesting?" She said to me.

The whole class was looking at me and her.

I didn't say anything and just gave her a blank look

"Your mommy and daddy died. They probley killed themselves because they couldn't deal with your ugly ass. Orphan girl." she said and the whole class laughed

I clenched my fists and started seeing black.

I wasn't gonna flip out that's what she wanted.

I looked up at her and laughed.

"Why are you laughing?!" She said loudly

"Cause your a dumb little stuck up bitch. Do you actually think I care what you think ?" I asked her laughing

"Yeah and your a poor little bitch. Scum bag." She scoffed.

"Owww. You hurt my feelings stop." I tried not laughing "bitch says poor haaaa. Is that why my shoes cost more then your entire outfit." I pulled out a stack of 20's  "I work for this, I don't get money handed to me like you do sweetie."

I threw 60$ at her.

"Here, go get that mustache waxed honey." Her facial expression dropped and her eyes filled with anger as everybody started bursting out laughing.

"I will fuck you up!!" She hissed at me.
"I'm right here." I smiled and blew her a kiss.

She came at me trying to hit me. He smacked me in the face. I stood up and started punching her in the face. She grabbed my hair trying to pull me on the ground. I reached up and punched her in the jaw really hard. She let go of my hair and I pulled away.

I back away from her. She started coming toward me again so i punched her in the jaw again.

She stumbled and started to look dazed. "Are you done?" I asked her

She shook her head no.

She ran at me so I punched her 4 more times. And she fell to the ground.

I stepped away from her. And grabbed my stuff.

I went to go walk out of the room and a kid named Dylan stopped me and gave  me dabs.

"Respect." He said

He handed me a piece of paper and winked.

I smiled and walked out if the class room.

I left the school and started to walk home.  It was gonna take a awhile so I decided to text Dylan.

He's 17. He's Puerto Rican and from the Bronx.

I texted him and said what up

He texted back

'Whats up ma?'

'Walking back to my house. Did everyone find out about me beating her ass?' I texted back

'Yeah. But I got it on video so they saw what happened. I wanna get to see you sometime.👀' he texted

'You already know. But imma bout to get home and get yelled at. Might get my phone taken away I'll hit you up soon. 💯🙌'

'Ight bet. I'll hold you to your word 😉😀' he said.

I turned my Phone off and walked up to my drive way.

This is gonna suck.
