Chapter 6

Tattoo shop Kyle works at
River POV

"What so you wanna do today?" Kyle asked me while I was eating cereal

"Can I get my tongue pierced?" I asked joking

"Sure" he said looking at his phone

"Wait can I really?" I asked excitedly

"Yeah I can take you today, you can be your allowance" he said smiling

"Yessss!" I said happily

"I'm gonna get my eyebrow pierced so why not?" He said smiling

I smiled

"Im gonna go and get dressed" I said running up stairs

I walked Into my room and started getting dressed

I couldn't find my straightener so I walked into Kyle's room and into his bathroom since he used it

I looked in the drawer and saw something

I took it out and there was 4 big bags full of weed

I looked at the bags shocked

So this is what he did for extra money he sold weed

"Hey why are you in my - oh shit" Kyle said loudly as he walked into his bathroom

"You're a-a drug dealer?" I asked shocked and very surprised

"Jesus Christ." he mumbled taking the bags from me and putting them back in the drawer

"No I'm not it's fucking Jakes. He sells weed I don't. So relax. Okay. Don't tell anyone that you saw this okay?" He said

I nodded and walked back into my room

I changed into some shorts and and a sweatshirt walking out and downstairs

Kyle was sitting on the couch

He looked up when he saw me. He got up and we headed out to his car.

I got in and buckled and he did too.

He put on some rap music and we headed toward the tattoo and piercing shop he worked at

"On a scale of one to ten how bad does getting your tongue pierced hurt?" I asked

"It hurts more after you get it pierced. I mean your tongue is a muscle so it hurts more. But it's like a 5." He told me pulling into a parking space

I got out and we walked in.

"Hey guys." Mike said as we walked in

"Hey man. She's getting her tongue pierced. I'm getting my eyebrow done." Kyle told him

"Alright. Do you want me or Kyle to do it?" Mike asked

"Kyle." I said

"Alright Kyle. You get the stuff together I gotta take a call real quick." Mike said

He nodded and Mike walked out.

Kyle looked at me
"Go sit in that chair." he said pointing at a chair

I went and sat in the chair watching Kyle get the stuff together.

He washed his hands and then put gloves on

He got all the stuff and put all the stuff down on a metal tray

He sat down on a stool and then looked at me

"Stick your tongue out." he said

I stuck my tongue out and he reached over and grabbed my tongue drying it off with a paper towel.

He took a marker thing and marked my tongue where it was gonna be pierced.

He let go of my tongue and took clamps out of a package and then the needle and the jewelry.

He put the clamp on my tongue aligning it with the mark he made.

After he aligned it he grabbed the needle and lightly put it against my tongue not putting pressure yet.

"Okay deep breathe in."

As I released my breather he pushed the needle through my tongue.

He grabbed the jewelry and pushed it in and pushed the needle out.

He put the ball on the jewelry and then took his hand swag

"It's done." he said smiling

"It feels weird." I said with a lisp because the jewelry was really long

"Yeah it's going to for a while just be carful. No solid foods for 2 weeks. I'll tell you when you're allowed to change the jewelry. Clean it out after every time you eat. Okay?" He said

I nodded

"This is cool." I said

He chuckled
