Chapter 1

River POV

"River get the fuck up you little shit you have to be to school in 30 minutes!" That was the one and only Kyle yelling for me to get up

I did not want to go to school today I was to tired

I snuggled back into my blanket hoping that he would just let me sleep in

I hear my door being slammed open

And then my blanket being ripped off of me and thrown on the ground

I open my eyes and look at him

"Did I not just tell you to get up?" He said

I laid back down

"I don't wanna go to school!" I whined

"You have 20 minutes if you're not ready I'm taking your phone" he said walking out

I slowly pulled myself out of bed and started to get ready

After I put on my cloths on put on a pair of flip flops and put a 'dope' beanie over my curly hair

I grabbed my phone and back pack

I slid my iPhone 6 plus into my back pocket

I put my bag onto my back and walked out of my room

I walked down stairs and saw Kyle sitting at the kitchen island on his MacBook Air

He looked up at me

"Are you gonna eat?" He asked

"No" I said grumpily

He was wearing a pair of grey joggers and a 'huf' hoodie with a pair of Jordans

He grabbed his iPhone 5s and his keys and headed toward the door

We went outside and got into his black Range Rover

I got into the passenger seat and he got into the drivers seat

He pulled out of the driveway and we started the 20 minute journey to hell aka school.

"Why are you being so difficult lately?" He asked looking at me and then back at the road

"I don't like school" I mumbled

"I know that but what do you wanna do? Wanna drop out ? You can't even get a fucking job a McDonald's without a high school diploma. " he said

"Why can't I just get like homeschooled or online?" I asked

"Because River I work all day and can't be home to babysit you, I have things to do or I would, I don't like making you go somewhere you hate, but you just have to get through it and then you can do anything you want okay?" He said

"Okay" I said

"I have off this weekend so we can do something, I'll take you shopping with Chloe or something okay?" He said

"Alright" I said smiling

"You wanna stop at Starbucks to get a small coffee real quick?" He asked

I nodded and smiled

We pulled into Starbucks and I got a caramel frappe

We pulled up to the window and it was some blonde

When she saw Kyle her face lit up and then she saw me and gave me a really dirty look

"Who's that Kyle ?" She asked

"My little sister" he said

He gave her the money, took the drinks and then drove off

I sipped on my drink
