"Sam, why don't we let Danny sit up front today? You and Cas can get some more sleep." Dean laughed as I threw our bags into the trunk of baby, the impala.
"Dean, I don't sleep." Cas told him, obviously confused at the joke. I laughed and Sam and Cas crawled in the backseat, letting me sit near Dean. Once we were about a half hour down the road, Sam was asleep in the back and Cas was just sitting there, like an angel. The tape in the stereo quit playing and Dean popped it out, handing it to me. I carefully put it back in the box.
"Danny, I'm sorry if I was coming on too strong. I just..." he trailed off.
"Its okay, Dean. You weren't doing anything wrong, I just don't really know if I can handle a relationship." I explained to him. He nodded and I figured we were fine on the subject, he seemed like he thought the same.
"Here, put this in." Dean handed me a tape. I didn't even look at it before putting it in. The song 'Bad Company' started playing. Of course, Dean started singing.
"Company, always on the run. Destiny is the rising sun." He surprisingly managed to hit all the high notes. At least he could sing. "I was born 6-gun in my hand." He continued. I couldn't help but laugh as he looked at me.
"I can't believe I have a crush on a guy who sings Bad Company in the car." I laughed. I didn't mean for him to hear me, but he did. He smacked his hand on the seat as the chorus started.
"That's why they call me bad company, and no, I can't deny. Sing it with me." He requested. I felt a huge smile spread on my face and I sang along. Who cares?
"Bad company, till the day I die." We sang together. Dean turned up the stereo. "Rebel souls, deserters we are called. Chose a gun and threw away the sun." We kept singing the song. I looked at Cas in the back seat, looking as confused as ever. When the second chorus ended, Dean started drumming on the steering wheel. He was so excited about this song. It was kind of cute seeing him like this, all happy.
After driving for a few hours, Dean pulled into a gas station and told Sam to fill up the impala.
"I'm getting snacks! Requests?" I announced. Everyone told me what they wanted and I went inside, Dean in tow behind me. I went and grabbed a beer for me and Sam, and a coke for Dean.
"Does Cas drink?" I asked, turning around to face Dean. He seemed surprised that he didn't startle me. "I heard you walk in behind me." I explained.
"No, Cas doesn't drink. But you can buy me a beer." He told me.
"Not a chance. You're driver." I smirked. He took a step closer to me.
"Then how about later?" He suggested and winked. There's the flirting again. I need to get over myself and let go of Rian.
"Maybe. If you're nice to me." I winked back at him. I traded one of the beers for another coke and grabbed some chips and candy bars before going back to the car. After throwing the stuff on the seat, I told Sam I would finish filling the impala and he practically ran inside to go to the bathroom.
"Hey Cas, I got you a soda. Dean said you don't drink." I called Cas over. He was wandering around in the parking lot curiously.
"Yeah, thanks." He called back. I tossed it into the backseat and watched him for a minute. He's so curious about everything, like a child. The gas stopped pumping and I paid with Dean's credit card. Neither of the boys were out yet, so I grabbed the window wand and cleaned the windshield, and then the windows. I put it back and checked in the car for the keys. Of course Dean took them with him. He's no fun for pranks. When I turned around, he was right behind me.
"Would you slap me if I kissed you?" He questioned. I bit my lip and shook my head slowly. He put his hands on either side of my hips, pulling me toward him. I smiled and pulled him closer to me by his shirt. His lips were inches from mine.
"Alright Dean, ready to- sorry." Sam came out of the gas station behind us. When he saw us, he instantly apologized for interrupting something he didn't even know about. I let go of Dean and tried to hide my blushing face.
"Dammit, Sam." He grumbled at his younger brother under his breath. "Cas! What are you looking at? Let's go!" Dean called the angel, who flashed into the car in his seat. Sam got in and didn't say anything while Dean walked around and got in.
After 3 more hours of driving and 2 more cassette tapes of singing, we pulled into a hotel and Sam went to pay for a room. Cas got out and started wandering around again.
"Alright, so we spend the night and then hunt this demon?" I asked. Dean shook his head.
"We figured out that its posing with a family. Its not in a vessel, though, the person it says it is died 20 years ago. We need to do a little stalking to find out the routine."  He explained.
"So, you and Sam are doing a stakeout and I'm supposed to go to the bar by myself?" I asked.
"Actually, I figured you and I would go to the bar and then maybe take over the stakeout around midnight." He corrected. I nodded. Sam came and we took our bags into our room. Before we could all head to the bar, I got a call from an old friend.
"Hola Rachel, que pasa?" I started talking to her. Sam and Dean stopped what they were doing and looked at me. I held up a finger. "Lo hizo? Ese puta." I said into the phone. "Tengo que matarlo?" I talked a few more minutes and Rachel asked about the boys.
"Todavía estoy cazando. Tengo nuevos socios. Se llamas Sam y Dean." The boys were both still staring at me, and Sam shifted uncomfortably when I said his name.
"Si, adios." I said bye to her and hung up the phone. The boys were looking at me like I'd just killed someone. "Que?" I asked them.
"You speak spanish? Since when?" Dean asked. I shifted also and drew back my shoulders.
"Paenitet mallemus Latin?" I asked. Castiel laughed and the brothers just looked confused. "I speak Latin and Spanish. I learned them when I was about 15. I also know sign language, if anyone cares." I explained. I left and we went to the bar. Sam and Cas sat at a table to eat while Dean and I sat at the actual bar.
After a while, Sam and Cas went to watch to demon's house and it was just me and Dean.
"Should we go back to the hotel for a while?" Dean suggested a few beers in. He raised an eyebrow and I knew what he was getting at.
"Not tonight, pretty boy. Remember what I said about not wanting a relationship?" I told him. He knows I'm not drunk enough to forget that, right? He nodded understandingly. We drank a few more and went to take over the stakeout. It was the most boring thing ever. I kept falling in and out of sleep. I'm too tired for this.
"Your car is so uncomfortable." I laughed when I woke myself up for the third time. I've already managed to smudge my cateye eyeliner that took me forever to do this morning. Dean put his arm up on the back of the seat and let me move closer to him. I snuggled into his shoulder and drifted back asleep.
"Shit, he's moving." Dean said as he moved and woke me up. I let out a light groan and sat up. "Uh, sorry Danny." He half-apologized. I just nodded. The demon was on the phone with someone. He only stood outside a few minutes before going back in.
"Alright, that's probably all we're going to see of him for now. Let's go back to the hotel and get you some actual sleep." Dean told me, looking at me with my head rested against the window. He started Baby and we went back to the hotel.
Once were back in our room, I busied myself gathering things to make my nest on the floor. Sam was asleep in one bed and Cas was somewhere else.
"You can take my bed if you want." Dean offered, motioning to the empty sheets.
"And make you sleep on the floor? I'm fine. I lost rpsls." I declined, pulling a blanket out of the closet.
"Or you can sleep in it with me." He suggested.
"I'm alright, Dean."
"All I'm saying is that we need you bright eyed and bushy tailed tomorrow, and the bed has to be more comfortable than the floor. You can put a barrier between us or something if you want to." He explained. I said fine and put the sheets back before going into the bathroom to change into my pajamas. When I got out, Dean was under the covers already. I didn't bother to put a barrier between us because I was too tired.

~Dean
Danny changed into shorts and a baggy, not cut off, t-shirt before she came and climbed into bed next to me. She laid with her back to me and fell asleep almost instantly. Halfway through the night, she rolled over so she was facing me.
"I thought you weren't gonna be here when I woke up?" She asked, still half-asleep. She moved closer to me and wrapped her arm around my waist. I put my arms around her and held her close to me.
