After researching our possible new case for a month, we gave up on it. Sam decided it must be a serial killer in the area and not an actual thing that we can hunt. It didn't take long for him to find another case and start looking at that. Meanwhile, Dean and I have been staying in the same room for a while. I think Sam's starting to catch on to when we want to be alone because he goes on super long supply runs.
He was on one now, actually. And it didn't take long after he left for Dean to push me up against the wall and trap me. His lips didn't even ask for permission, they just connected themselves with mine as his hands held my wrists.
I should probably clarify that Dean and I aren't going at it all hours of the day necessarily. Its been just over a month since we first did anything, and since then its only been when Sam and Cas are both out of the bunker, which is really only about twice a week for supply runs. Not to mention I get to bleed for one week out of the month, so going to buy supplies to help with that and then actually dealing with it cut into any chances we had. Of course, I didn't tell Dean when I was on my period, I just went on supply runs with Sam. I think he got the gist.
"Are we going to your bed or mine?" Dean huffed between kisses. He moved down and started biting my neck.
"My way, there might not be a bed." I replied and pushed him back onto the couch. When I straddled him he picked me up, carrying me to his room anyway. He set me down at the doorway and I pulled him in, pushing him down on the bed. I climbed on top of him and his hands ran up the sides of my body, making me shiver as he pulled me down and rolled on top of me.
"God, you're rough." I chuckled as he bit down on my stomach.
"Like it?" I saw him smirk. I just nodded and pulled his face back up to mine. Our lips reconnected and Dean managed to unclasp my bra. I ran my nails down his back as he bit my lip, and bit him back. His hands were rougher than before.
I woke up later when I heard Sam walk back into the bunker. I rolled over and felt Dean's arms tighten around me. I tried to move away from him as I felt his stubble prick my neck, but he just returned me to my original spot.
"Stop moving, damn it." He grumbled from behind me. I rolled my eyes.
"You need to shave." I informed him, squirming around so that I was facing him. He opened an eye to look at me before moving his arms to press my body even further into his. One of his hands went to my shoulders and the other went to my ass as he buried his face against my neck. I put my arm over his side and we laid like that for a minute before I moved away.
"I think I'm going to leave for a case in a day or two." I said, laying on my back now and looking at the ceiling.
"Want to share our new case with the group, sweetheart?" He asked, tugging my hip so at least some part of me was touching him. He'd never admit he liked cuddling, but it was easy to tell he did.
"Its more of a solo case, Dean." I told him, untangling one of my legs from his.
"I think a case would be good for everybody. Besides, I don't want you getting lost in another vamp nest." He argued. I looked at him and took a deep breath. "Why don't you want me to come?"
"It involves my parents." I sighed, closing my eyes as I said it.
"Well this is new pillow talk." He retorted. Obviously angry for some reason.
"What? There's a demon in that town. I haven't seen my sister for more than a few years and she called me. I have to go." I tried not to snap at him. His expression softened a little.
"Do you really not want me to come?" He sounded slightly hurt this time.
"You can come, I guess. I just didn't think you wanted to meet my parents that badly. The last time I talked to them I was high and Bobby dragged my druggie ass into a pickup. It might be kind of hostile." I explained. He nodded.
"We can handle hostility. As long as you'll have us along for the ride."
"Fine, but I get to pick some music for once. Ruby already promised that I could stay there. Even though my parents don't know I'm coming." I told him, referring to my younger sister.
"Let's go tell Sam." He suggested and got up. I slid on my clothes from earlier and fixed my hair a little before we went out to where Sam was doing college work. Ew. Dean quickly explained the case and I told them if we were all going I wanted to leave in the morning. Cas was coming, too, which was fine with me since he can help with the demon.
The next morning I got out of my bed and went to pound on Dean's door. We hadn't slept in the same room for some reason. Sam was already up and had made coffee.
"Oh, thank god. I need this." I said as I rushed over to the coffee pot and poured a cup. After pulling the carmel sauce out of the fridge and adding some to my coffee I felt Dean walk past, smacking my ass as he went to the coffee.
"Did you just put carmel in your coffee?" He asked, making a weird face.
"Want to try some?" I asked him. He eyed it carefully.
"No thanks." I shrugged and continued sipping it. Sam was packing books to take for research.
"What kind of lore do you think we need?" He asked, scanning through piles, trying to narrow the list down.
"None. I have a collection of demon info in my old house. As long as Ruby didn't get to it." I told him. He glanced at me like he was unsure. "Promise. We won't need it." I reassured him. He actually looked kind of relieved. We packed up and left. I played my own tapes and Sam slept in the back.
When we got to the town my parents lived in, Dean pulled up to their house and parked. I just looked at the house. It seemed so much bigger than the last time I visited with Ryan.
"We don't have to take this case. Bobby could do it." Sam said from the back, obviously noticing my discomfort.
"They wanted to see me last time. Its okay." I took a deep breath and got out of the car. As soon as I got out, Ruby ran out of the house and sprinted toward me.
"Danny!" She smiled as her arms wrapped around my neck and I hugged her back. "Where have you been?" She whispered softly. I kissed the side of her head.
"I've been everywhere, sweetheart. Want to meet my new partners?" I responded. She let go of me and I saw Sam and Dean standing awkwardly behind me.
"These are my partners, Sam and Dean." I introduced them to her, standing beside Dean. "Boys, this is my sister, Ruby."
"How old are you, Ruby?" Dean asked from beside me. His arm was snaked around my waist. She raised an eyebrow at him.
"Danny, really?" She questioned, ignoring Dean. "Mom and dad are not going to approve." She giggled. I stepped away from Dean a little and glared at her. It'll be fine. I signed. We had learned sign language together, to talk when we didn't want our parents to understand.
"How old are you?" Sam repeated Dean's question.
"I'm 16. How old are you?" She replied, winking at the younger brother. My eyes widened.
"Older than I'm allowing for you. I should go see mom and dad." I said before Sam could say anything. Dean walked behind me as I went up to the door. Ruby and Sam were behind us.
"Are you sure this is a good idea? I mean, do I look okay?" Dean asked. I was about to roll my eyes at him as his hand slipped underneath mine. He squeezed it nervously and I looked at him. He didn't look me in the eye.
"I can't believe this, Dean fucking Winchester is afraid to meet my parents." I said increduously.
"I'm not afraid to, its just, not something I normally do." He stuttered. I figured I should do something to calm his nerves. I messed with his hair and the collar on his jacket, even though there was nothing wrong with them, to reassure him that it was okay. I wrapped my pinkie around his and knocked on the door.
"You still live here, you could just walk in." Ruby scoffed behind me.
"We aren't getting into this right now." I replied over my shoulder. She had been completely against kicking me out. Then again, she had never seen me high and locked up in a holding cell. I never came home like that. I took a deep breath as the door opened. It was my mother.
"Hey, mom." I tried to smile. A bit of confusion showed on her face as she processed who I was.
"Danny?" She questioned. I nodded. "My baby, oh my god." She smiled and pulled me into a hug. I don't know what I was expecting from her, but this wasn't it. It kind of took me off guard, but it was okay.
"Come in, its nicer inside." She led me in. "Tom, get down here!" She called for my dad. I looked behind me and put my arm around Dean's waist. His found its way naturally to my hip. Ruby, of course, was hanging on Sam. My dad walked down the stairs and when he saw me he looked like he had just seen a ghost.
"Why the hell are you back here?" He asked, anger seeping through his voice. I dropped my arm from around Dean to my side and took a step back.
"I'm working. R-ruby called me." I said nervously. The last time I was here I was still on drugs.
"What do you do?" He questioned. I never told him about hunting. I didn't want them in danger.
"We're not allowed to tell you for your safety, sir. But if you must know, its with the government." Sam covered for me. My dad's expression softened.
"Good. Come here." He replied and pulled me into a tight hug. When we seperated my mom went to make us dinner while the rest of us sat on the couches to talk.
"So Bobby got you in with the government?" My dad asked and I nodded. "So you need a place to stay?" He offered.
"If you'll let me. Last time I was here you kind of said to never come back." I shrugged, looking at my feet.
"Of course you can stay here. Your partners can stay in the spare room in the basement." He told me, I could sense regret from his last sentence all those years ago in his words.
"Actually dad, I almost forgot. This is Sam and Dean, the Winchester brothers." I stressed the end of my sentence. The boys were brothers, not lovers. His eyes got wide with embarassment and he tried to fix it.
"One can have the couch, then." He nodded to himself.
"Actually, Dean and I can share a bed." I offered, trying to sneak our relationship status into the conversation.
"You and this young man? What happened to that other boy, Rian?" My mom asked from the doorway to the kitchen. I looked up at her. Well, I killed him, but that's not exactly an acceptable answer.
"He was killed in the line." I stated, feeling my voice dull.
"I'm sorry. He was very nice." She consoled me and went to continue cooking. I got up and decided we should move our bags in. When Dean and I got ours into my old room, Ruby appeared in the doorway behind us.
"Jesus, don't do that, kid. You're worse than your sister." I heard Dean say behind me. I turned to see my younger sister staring at me. She took a few steps closer and looked up at me. I was almost a foot taller than her.
"What really happened to Rian? You wouldn't have let him get killed." She questioned me.
"Demon possession." I admitted. Dean looked shocked to say the least. One of the first unspoken rules about the job was to never tell anyone about the job. It was like fight club.
"That's what we're dealing with here. Do you think it could be the same thing?" She asked.
"Have you looked through my lore?" She nodded. "I'll go get Sam." I went and got him while Ruby got the books. We sat on the floor of my room and Ruby explained what she knew. The brothers just sat there while she and I talked about it.
"And then it got Jennifer Drewmore, and she jumped off the bridge at 6th and Newtwork." She explained. "That, of course, wasn't until 2 more people went missing." She continued.
"So where is it?" I questioned her. Her finger tapped on the map and I looked at it. I knew how to get there.
"I'm sorry, how do you know all of this?" Sam interrupted.
"I taught her some things. I may have seen her even after my parents kicked me out." I told them. They nodded confusedly and Ruby and I went back to talking.
"Alright, can we go after it in the morning?" I asked Dean, looking up at him. He seemed to understand what Ruby and I had been talking about and said yes. We all ate a quick dinner with my parents.
"Goodnight, guys. Love you." I said to my family and shut the door. I took off my clothes before flopping onto my bed. I'm emotionally exhausted, and I haven't even started hunting yet.
"You okay, sweetheart?" I heard Dean say behind me, shutting the door. I groaned and rolled onto my side, facing away from him.
"My family is exhausting."
"Ruby isn't that bad. Your parents, however, are a little..."
"Crazy?" I finished for him. "Tell me about it." I buried my head in the pillow and watched Dean's arm reach over me to turn off the lamp before he pulled the covers over me and pulled on my waist, trying to convince me to roll over to face him. I finally did but didn't look at him.
"We can let someone else have this." He offered, his hand on the small of my back.
"No, we can't. We need Cas here in the morning, though." I informed him. His hand went under my chin and he nudged it up to look at me. He leaned down and hovered his lips over mine. I took the chance and closed the gap, trying to let myself relax into the kiss. Dean's arms wrapped protectively around me and he kissed my forehead before letting me fall asleep on him.
