It was finally morning and to say I was dreading this moment more than anything and there was no way in hell I was going to give up without a fight.My parents arrived 11:00 Am and I knew that they were going to bring up what the doctor said but as far as they knew I was still in the dark and I was going to play along with them. My mum sat at the chair that was closet to the door and every so often she wouud look at my dad as if to say "Whos going to tell her ?",just as my mum was about to speak the doctor came in and said "Miss Everson I trust you have been informed about the lastest plans ". Now was the time to put my plan into action (drama class had to come in handy right?) I replied as if I had just started paying attention "No I wasnt informed of anything,why im heading home soon any way right ?."The doctor looked at both my mum and dad and then suddenly my mum spoke up with tears in her eyes and the saddness clear in her voice "Dakota the doctor said that the Canc- your condition has gotten worse and me and your dad along with your doctor think it would be best if you were to stay in the hospital full time."I knew it was time to step my plan up a gear and say "Why cant I just stay at home ive lasted this long so whats changed ?". My dad spoke up and said "Youre Canc- condition I mean has got worse and you could take more attacks and we may not always be able to get you to the hospital ". I kept looking at my mum and dad then the doctor said "Me and your parents talked it through and we agree it would be for the best ". I quickly replied with "But I cant stay in the hospital someone else might need to be here more than me " The doctor was one-step ahead of me and said"We've contacted a hospice and they have agreed to give you a room there for as long as you need it and you will also be given your own carers ". I was getting ready to take control of this arguement ,I said "What about school,my friends and my home?."My mum answered smirking slightley she knew what I was up to "Nice try youve finished school and your friends have agreed they will vist everyday and you will always have a home."Then my dad said"The doctor will tell you when youre going and dont worry your stuff will be at the hospice before yo u arrive ". I sighed knowing I was going to get nowhere with them and said "Fine when will I be leaving"The doctor said"In two hours ".I sighed knowin there was no point in speaking and Then I started thinking I might as well grin and bear it because it was where im going to be speading the rest of my days.
