Caught (TMNT fanfic)

Chapter 2

"Shredder."

"Well, well, well. It seems that Yoshi's disciples decided to look around the city. My guess, to protect it." He smirked under his mask and unsheathed his gauntlet blades. "But who will protect you?"

The turtles unsheathed their weapons and got in their fighting stance.

"Alright guys, stealth and misdirection." Leo whispered as he ran at Shredder and threw ninja stars. As Shredder was blocking them, Leo hid in the shadows.

The others followed his lead and just hid along with him.

When Shredder was done he smirked once again. "Misdirection, I see. That will not save you this time." He looked all around him and threw blinding powder at the nearest turtle he sensed. He grabbed the turtle by the throat and forced him into the moonlight. "Raphael, nice of you to join me."

Raph grunted as the blinding powder made tears escape his closed eyes.

"Come out turtles. And your dearest brother won't get hurt, too badly, at least." Shredder said as he held his gauntlet to his throat.

The turtles came out of their hiding spots slowly, and glared at Shredder. "Pathetic." He said as he was about to go for the strike.

As Shredder was a few inches away from the strike until a chain wrapped around his gauntlet and held it back.

Shredder faced the source and it was the one and only Michelangelo.

"Get your hands off my brother!" He screamed. He saw his brother's shocked gazes and smirked in his head.

Shredder gave a demonic laugh and kicked Raphael, sending him flying straight into Donnie.

With his gauntlet still wrapped up, he grabbed the chain with his free hand and yanked on it hard. Mikey went flying towards Shredder, and when Mikey was in reach, Shredder caught him by the throat and threw him on his back, onto the concrete roof top.

A loud, sickening crack echoed in the turtles ears. "Mikey!"

Raph was able to see completely fine now, and saw that Shredder was pinning an unconscious Mikey to the floor. He got his sai ready and looked at his two brothers, angrily. They nodded in a way of his understanding.

Raph looked at Shredder and growled. He ran full speed and leaped over him and gave him a hard kick, that made him stumble back a few steps, off of Mikey.

Raph was going to punch him but his arm was caught. Shredder gave a growl and twisted his arm until there was a pop and Raph let out a loud scream.

He held his arm to his chest and looked up to see a fist coming his way. Raph was sent back a few steps as he fell on his knees, trying to block out the black dots he was seeing.

Shredder took out his blades and ran toward the fallen turtle. He went for the final blow but was deflected by Leonardo's katanas. Leo managed to kick him once, but the rest of the blows were being given to him.

Trying to avoid the Shredder, Leo was losing his ground. From the corner of Leo's eye, he saw Donnie making his way toward them.

Donnie swung his bō and struck for Shredder's shoulder but he moved out of the way in a lightning speed and Donnie hit Leo over the head, instead.

Leo grunted and glared at Donnie. "Oops, sorry Le-" Shredder kicked Donnie on his side that sent him flying off the roof top.

A loud crash was heard as Donnie fell into a garbage can. "Donnie!" Leo yelled as he gripped his katanas and stared at Shredder.

Shredder looked up and laughed. "Who will protect you now, turtle?"

Leo stayed silent but still kept his ground.

Mikey finally woke up and was in so much pain. He saw Raph on his knees, trying to keep his eyes open. He didn't see Donnie in sight, and he saw Leo cornered by the Shredder; he was slightly bruised up.

Mikey saw his nunchucku on the floor next to him and picked it up in his hand. Mikey had a plan but he knew it was going to hurt, a lot.

Mikey shrugged it off as he saw his enemy making his way closer to his oldest brother; Leo was so close to the roof's edge, and so was Shredder.

Mikey got up and gained his balance. He ran as fast as he could and leaped in the air.

Leo's P.O.V.

I was surrounded by my greatest enemy and I was so close to falling off the building.

Shredder is so fast, he disarmed me and I am weaponless. He smirked and went for a finishing blow, but all I heard was something I would never miss.

"Booyakasha!" I closed my eyes as the gauntlet went through the side of my shell, but was quickly taken out of me.

I gasp from pain and to see my youngest brother tackle the Shredder off the roof with his nunchucku wrapped his around his throat.

His tackle was so powerful that it sent them both falling off the building.

I ran to the edge to see Shredder grab Mikey and placed him under him. When they landed from the three story fall, I saw Shredder getting off of Mikey.

There was a pool of blood coming from under him and I ran to the fire escape and quickly climbed down. Shredder saw me again and stabbed me once again in the same spot. I scream as I saw his fist coming at me. Next thing I knew, I was out like a light.

Donnie's P.O.V.

I opened my eyes to see absolutely nothing. I moved and I was in so much pain. Everything ached.

I got out my T-phone to see that I was in a garbage can. Great, just great. I moved the light to see Leo unconscious beside me. I went into a panic and checked him up; I need to get him out of this dumpster or he can get an infection from his stab wound.

I reached to open the lid but it was sealed shut. "Dang it!" I tried to push the lid open but I was in too much pain. Probably because I fell off a three story building.

I feel so useless, but I need to get Leo out of here now. In the mean time, I untied my mask and placed it over the stab wound but it bleed through so I untied Leo's and placed it over mine. I unbuckled my gear belt and buckled it around the masks.

I just don't know what to do now.

Raph's P.O.V.

I finally got control over the black dots that surrounded my vision. I stand up to see none of my brothers in sight.

I start to go into a full panic as I searched for them around the roof top and the ground below. I walked to the fire escape and climbed down.

I jumped off the last ledge and felt something sticky that looked a lot like blood. I stepped away from it and scanned the area. There was nothing, I was about to look somewhere else until I heard a loud banging coming from the dumpster can.

I stepped closer to hear a grunt that sounded a lot like Donnie.

"Donnie? You in there?" I asked as I waited for an answer.

"Raph?" I heard him say. "Get us out of here. Something is keeping me from opening this." Donnie demanded me- wait. Did he just say "us"?

I didn't say a word but moved the heavy object that were on the lid that I could with one arm. I took out my sai and broke the lock that was on the lid and the bin.

I opened it and saw Donnie slowly standing up. I helped him out and looked back in the trash to look at Leo.

I reached in to carry him out but my arm wasn't letting me. Donnie noticed me and helped me get Leo out. We laid him on the floor and Donnie checked me over.

"Donnie," I said, pretty harshly. "I don't need to be checked right now. We just need to get home."

He nodded then looked around. "Where's Mikey?"
