I sat on my bed starring at the bathing suits laying in front of me. There were probably about ten minutes left until Blake said he was going to pick me up for the party... And I still didn't know what I was going to wear. There were two options. A black triangle swimsuit, or a blue strapless. The blue swimsuit was more modest, but the black looked super sexy, and if I was trying to impress Garrett, or even Blake I should probably wear the black, which is what I decided on. Quickly I threw it on, put on a yellow cover up and threw on some water proof mascara.
I was excited for the party tonight, I had a long interesting first day. I made one friend, met two hot guys... And the day wasn't even over yet. I thought New York was a hectic city and that moving here would make everything more laid back, but if I'm already stressing about guys and its my second day here, maybe I thought wrong.
On my way out I stopped by Dylan's room to tell him I was leaving for the party but he wasn't there so I walked out and decided to just text him instead. I didn't bother to tell my mom, she probably cared but I didn't want her to feel like I was giving her the power to say no.
So I left and sure enough Blake was standing there waiting. When he heard my front door shut he looked up from his phone and smiled.
I looked around in my driveway and the car that Dylan and I shared wasn't there. Which was weird cause normally he told me when he was leaving and going somewhere.
"You ready?" Blake asked, seeing that I was distracted.
"Oh Yeah, lets go." i replied shrugging off the fact that my brother was mysteriously gone.
I got into the car with Blake and pulled out my phone once he started backing out, but when i pulled it out, he quickly snatched it out of my hand.
"What the hell are you doing?" i ask Blake as i reached for my phone as he tugged it out of my reach and started typing something in. After a few seconds of this he handed my phone back to me and continued driving like nothing had happened.
"Blake what did you just do on my phone?" I asked pissed off that he just took it from me like that.
"I sent myself a text so I would have your number." he smirked looking over towards me then back at the road.
"You could've just asked me..." I said back to him.
"Yah but I don't normally have to ask girls for their numbers." he said smirking again.
I laugh but only a little, I couldn't let his ego grow any larger than it already was.
"So, how far away is the beach from here?" I asked trying to change the subject.
"Don't worry babe, were only about five minutes away, I know your just itching for me to take my shirt off." he smirks then laughs.
"Wow how did you know," I giggled trying to sound like one of the girls at school, "The only reason why I would ever want to go to the beach would be to see you?"
I laugh again and so does he then we pulled onto a long road that seemed like it was going down to the beach. There were a bunch of other students walking up and down the road. Some of them were familiar from school today but most were faces I hadn't seen before. Some of the girls waved when they saw Blake, others glared at me and kept walking.
We finally parked and got out of his car. We started walking towards the beach. Then a big group of people walked up to us.
"Blaaake!" said one guy who was about the same hight as Blake but looked a bit stronger.
"Hey Troy." responded Blake giving him a little high five hand shake sort of thing that only guys do.
"And who might this be?" Troy said now speaking to me.
"This is Britt." Said Blake before I could respond putting his arm around me. I quickly shrugged him off, I didn't want people thinking I was another one of his random chicks like Charlotte had said.
"Blake I can introduce my self." I snapped at him probably a little to harshly.
"Well Britt can I get you something to drink?" asked Troy.
"Yes, I would love that." I answered before I walked away with him. I glanced back at Blake and he seemed pissed, but I guess that's ok, it's not like I should care what he thinks.
Troy handed me a drink and started introducing me to everyone. After I talked to him and his friends for a while I realized just how drunk they all were.
"Well," I said, "Maybe it's about time for me to get back to Blake, he is my ride and all."
"Whaaat?? NO you can't go we're having so much fun!!" said Troy.
"Yah don't leave!!" said Austin, Troy's friend.
"No I really need to get going guys..." I said starting to back away before I backed into another one of them.
"You can't, the fun is just getting started." said Troy's other friend Patrick who I had backed into. Then he wrapped his arms around me and started to stick his hand up my shirt. I swatted him away but he was stronger than me and just started to laugh.
"Stop!!" I screamed struggling to get away but he put his other hand around my mouth so I couldn't scream anymore. I looked around to see if someone around us could help me but the only people there were us four, it was too dark on the beach to see any further.
I started crying and closing my eyes as one of them started to un-button my jean shorts. I continued to struggle but there was not much I could do. Then I heard a loud thud and the grip around my waist loosened allowing me to get free. There was another guy now, who had punched Patrick and scared Troy and Austin into running away. I looked up to see his face and it was Garrett.
I tried to say thank you but I was just speechless of what had just almost happened. I continued to cry and then wrapped my arms around him in a huge hug. At first he was tense but then loosened up and I felt his muscles wrap around me too.
"Shh... It's alright." he whispered into my ear soothingly, "here come with me, I'll take you home."I released Garrett from my grasp and followed him to his motor cycle that I had seen earlier today.
When we got to the parking lot I saw Blake standing by his car talking to two tall blonde girls, until he saw me and ran over to me and Garrett.
"Oh so this is who you've been with all night," he said, "and from the looks of it you seem to be going home with him too, how classy Britt."
I opened my mouth to respond but I was still too shaken up to say any thing back without bursting into tears.
"Shut up douche bag she's not going home with me I was just giving her a ride." Garrett snapped back when he realized I wasn't going to respond.
"Whatever," he grumbled back, "here's your phone I found it in my car, I didn't think you would need it because I thought I would be giving you a ride home."
"Yah well it looks like your'e preoccupied already." said Garrett gesturing to the girls waiting back at Blake's car.
"Hey how about you shut your god damn mouth." growled Blake walking towards Garrett now.
"Stop!" I sniffled standing in between them, "I just need to go home."
"C'mon Britt let's go." grumbled Garrett leading me to his motor cycle.
He then took me home and I got in bed. When I checked my phone I had 3 missed calls from Blake and a text saying "Where did you go? I can't find you, are you ok?" I guess he can't be that bad, he seemed genuinely worried. At first I blamed Blake for letting me go off with those guys but it was my own fault for being stubborn and trying to make hime jealous. Does that mean I like him? Or Garrett? I mean he was the one to save me, not Blake.
