(Caydens PoV)

6am, I was woke up by the sound of my alarm I was major groggy today!
I found my dressing gown and slipped it on before practically crawling down the stairs to grab some breakfast.
As soon as my mum saw me she darted towards me and was screaming because it's my first day of year 11.
She was ironing my uniform as I grabbed some coco pops (British cereal.) once I was finished I washed my bowl grabbed my uniform and went to text my friend jack.
Jack is super smart he's expecting to get a* in everyone of his subjects I'm expected all a's which I'm quite proud of!
So I grabbed my iPhone and text him "first day back at school today do you still want me to pick you up?"
He replied instantly obviously excited to be going back to school "yeah be at mine in 30 minutes"
I hopped in the shower combed my hair and put my uniform that consists of a yellow tie grey trousers and a green blazer I grabbed my mums fiat 500 keys and headed out the door after giving her a quick kiss on the cheek and waved goodbye.

Before you jump to conclusions... I'm a geek. I always have been. I'm that one who raises his hand like there's no tommorow. I obviously get bullied. Wedgies, punched, kicked, stretched, called, spat on. You name it. But I don't really give a fudgeywoodgey because when I am older and I have a fantastic job, they cannot come crying to me.

Quickly, I zoomed off to Jack's house in my car.
"Oh my god, back to schoollllll!" Jack screams as he gets inside my car.
"I know!"
"This year I'm going to try and get a girlfriend"
"Againnnn?" You say "last year you picked Snotty Sally, like seriously I'd rather stay single!"
"Sorry Mr.Croaky pants" he says mockingly
"Hey I'm wearing frog underwear how'd you know that!?"
"I didn't but now I do" he says laughing
Jack really is my bestest bestest friend. He's literally the only friend whose never left me except for when we have to go to class of course.
He is a weirdo though when it comes to it but then again - aren't I?

As we pulled up into the school car park, Jack dashed out of the car and I adjusted my glasses, tried to make my hair flatter and pushed on my retainer as hard as I could. I picked up my briefcase, opened the car door and hobbled over to the school gates. Yay! 180 days of pure calculus, algebra, reading, equations, more maths and the choir club - that's right, I sing.
Immediately, as soon as I walk in I see the most prettiest girl in our year, Charlie-Jo Littlewood. She's one of the only popular people that treat me with respect!

Every year she always partners up with me for chemistry. Whilst everyone else thinks that she does it so I'll do all the work..... She actually is very clever. Oh intelligent, smart girls like her. Wow. She loves the mixing of chemicals and the practical work and I love all the writing work like recording results into tables and working out reaction equations. But seriously Charlie is the one thing I love more than maths, and that's pretty special for me.

"Hey Charlie!" I say enthusiastically as possible.
"Aw hey Cay Cay"
Immediately I start blushing I can feel it. She just called me Cay Cay! Damn I'm such a little girl when it comes to feelings.
"So are you partnering up with me for Chemistry? We have Mr.Zachary and I heard his classes go with quite a bang" I say
"No, I'm sorry Cay Cay, but how about this, you come to my house this Saturday, yeah and we're gonna do some stuff" she says winking.
"Okay!" I say skipping off into the distance I just bolt away because what, huh?

"Wait don't you need my address!?" She shouts

I just didn't respond. Of course I know where she lives, she's been my crush for 4 years, come on really. I wonder what she meant by 'stuff' ' I'm so excited. Seriously. So excited that I can't even be bothered to go through 5 days of lessons. I just want to be straight there at her house.... Right now. With a quick little squeal, I dash to Miss.Henna's English class.
