Butterflies were making atomic bombs and dropping them in my stomach. I'd literally never been so nervous. My mum ironed me my favourite dress pants and my grey jumper that my nana knitted for me. I put my grey jumper over my black shirt and put on my red bow tie. After running the comb through my hair a few times, I decided I was ready.
"Okay sweetheart have an amazing time with this girl" my mum says beaming at me.
"I will mum" I give her a kiss on the cheek and grab my satchel and my mum's keys.I pull up at Charlie's and my heart is pounding my chest more than the bullies do. I notice another car outside which I know for a fact wasn't Charlie's or her mum's car. Charlie didn't live with her dad. He left her and her mum when Charlie was 2. Don't worry, I'm not that much of a stalker to find that kinda information. She opened up to me last year when I told her about my family history. I never lived with my dad either. I guess not having a fatherly figure in my life made me quite feminine. He was a drug addict so my mum got rid of him. When I was younger, I used to hate my mum because I thought my mum broke up with him on purpose but now I know the real reason she did it and I love her for doing that. She's my angel.
Talking of angels.... I'm outside Charlie's house and I'm freaking out. I pull out my Lynx aftershave and drown myself in it.
I've been standing here for about half an hour trying to pull myself together and be a normal human not a person in the geek world.
I was just about to knock on the girl of my dreams' house when the door flew open she grabbed my hand and pulled my up the stairs until I was stood outside her bedroom door my hands were getting clammy and I became self conscious about the sweat that was forming in our interlocked hands she opened the door and there was her clique Jasmine Peters the school head cheerleader.
Sarah-Jae the schools most heavenly looking girl in everyone's eyes (apart from mine)
Then there's Charlie-Jo the one that stands out from them all she's like a greek goddess just stood there in front on me
I'm so confused!
Why are Jasmine and Sarah here.
I stood there taking in my surroundings the pink girly princess castle nothing like I expected I finally spoke up and said, "What's going on?"
She replied, "We're going to give you a makeover"
Before I could reply, she was shoving endless amounts of clothes in my face jasmin sat me down in Charlie's chair. I felt so privileged sitting in her house her room smelt of sweet roses and sugar.
