I don't get nervous much—but today?
Yeah, I felt that shit.
Pandora was in my passenger seat, legs crossed, nails tapping gently on her phone screen as I pulled up to my parents' house. Her soft vanilla perfume filled the car, sweet and calming—but it didn't stop my palms from sweating. This wasn't just bringing a girl around. This was me introducing my girl.
And Pandora wasn't just anybody.
She looked insane tonight. She wore a white strapless top with jeans that hugged her curves just right. Along with heels and the brown gucci purse I bought her. The gold necklaces she had on glinted in the light, and her gold hoop earrings brushed against her jawline every time she turned her head. Hair slicked into a neat low ponytail, edges laid, with her signature soft-glam makeup—she was it. My mom was gonna love her. Hell, everybody already did. I could smell her perfume—soft, warm vanilla with a hint of coconut and floral—every time she moved.

While I wore a a crisp white button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up just below my elbows and with the tennis bracelet Ora got me. Along with my dark wash slim-fit jeans and clean brown leather Chelsea boots.
"You sure you ready?" I asked, leaning over to adjust her necklace a little, just because I wanted an excuse to touch her.
She gave me that lowkey smirk and squeezed my hand. "You nervous, Bubs?"
"Maybe a little."
"Good," she teased, "now we even."
