📍Legendary Ink

Atlanta, GA| February 7th, 2023

The familiar buzz of the tattoo machine was almost meditative, but today my mind wasn't on the ink or the art—it was on her. My baby. My Ora. Ever since that night, since the way she looked in that deep emerald dress, how her lips pressed against mine, and that soft moan she let out at the end of our kiss, I've been stuck on her like a melody that won't quit.

I wiped my hand on a towel and glanced over at Lamar, who was prepping his station, smirking like he knew exactly what was on my mind.

"Man, you been spaced out all day," he said, shaking his head. "What's good with you?"

I shrugged, trying to play it cool but failing. "Just thinking about her, bro. Can't get her out my head."

Lamar laughed. "So what's the move? You gonna tell her you like her, or you just gonna keep playin' it lowkey?"

I ran my fingers through my hair, thinking. "Nah, man. We just started this thing. I really like her, but I don't wanna rush it. She's been through some real shit before, and I gotta respect that. I wanna be patient, make sure she knows I'm here for real."

He shook his head like I was soft, but I didn't care. "Just don't sleep on her, man."

"I'm not. I want it right. No fast moves."

The shop door jingled as a customer walked in, and I tucked my phone back into my pocket. But moments later, it buzzed—my baby lighting up my screen.

Ora 💕: Hey bubs, how's your day been? Missin' you already.

A smile crept on my face. I typed back quick.

Bubs🖤: Busy but all I wanna do is see you, baby. You good?

Ora 💕: Long shift but thinkin' 'bout you makes it easier, love.

Bubs🖤: That's my girl. I gotta date planned for us tonight. Be ready by six🫶🏾
