Yoko, meanwhile, was busy in the kitchen cooking up a nice big dinner for her sons' sleepover. Oh, how she loved cooking for lots of people! It truly was a joy seeing people enjoy her food and knowing they were well fed!

In particular, she wanted to make sure Yugo and Rin ate well. She'd heard how the two of them were raised in an orphanage, and how they didn't have anyone to rely on for good meals. Even their caretakers hadn't really fed them very well. From what Yugo had said, they tended to eat the same thing every single day. And if Yugo's reaction to tasting Yoko's cooking was any indication, the food they ate back in Synchro wasn't very good.

Yuto and the Kurosakis were also on the list of people that Yoko wanted to make sure had a good meal. She'd fed Shun before, and the way he ate fast and finished his meal within ten minutes made her suspect that the war hadn't been kind to the XYZ duelists when it came to food. Yuto had also initially been quick to eat, but he'd started slowing down his meals significantly and actually taking the time to enjoy his food recently.

Yoko smiled as she seasoned some chicken and put it in the oven. This dinner was going to be wonderful, she could already tell. And she knew her boys' guests would enjoy it. After all, it was made with love! And a meal made with love was the best meal of all!
