Draco went to his potions class one way and Hermione went the other way. Snape hated it when people were late to his classes , so they were lucky when they got there just on time. Snape seemed like he was in a bad mood. He had picked their partners. He read down the list.
Harry Potter and Cedric Diggory
Ron Weasley and Lavender Brown
Luna Lovegood and Neville Longbottom
Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle
The list went on for a while until there was only a few people left on the list to pair up.
Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy.
The two of them were happy to be paired together but they couldn't show their happiness in front of anyone. They both walked over to the table and began working.
Draco Put his hand under the table and placed it over Hermiones. She turned to him and smiled slightly. Snape began patrolling the class room , so Draco quickly moved his hand away. Snape stared at Hermione and Draco. Then carried on walking. Hermione let of a sigh of relief He was nearly caught. They got distracted and were running behind with their potion. Everone else had nearly finished their potions and Hermione and Draco were almost half way through. The lesson was over and they hadn't finished the potion. The snook out of the classroom so they didn't have to stay to finish the potion.
**After Class**
No one was happy , they all stormed off to their houses common rooms. No one spoke to anyone. Some stayed in the common room others went to their own rooms. Hermione sat on her bed talking to Ginny. Draco just sat on his bed. Ginny and Hermione were talking about Draco. In the corner of her eye Ginny saw something being pushed under the door. She picked it up it was a letter

She passed it too Hermione.
Hermione smiled and opened the envelope. The letter read.
Hermione ,
Meet me in the library in the restricted section . At 10pm tonight.

The letter was short but it still made Hermione smile. She loved getting letters from Draco. The door started to open and Hermione shoved the letter under her pillow and continued talking with Ginny about potions class earlier.
