A small first girl entered the common room and looked around for a moment. Then she proceeded to walk to the stairs and hurried down them. She bent down in front of Hermione's dorm rooms door and slid a letter under the crack of the door. Then proceeded to hurry back up the stairs and through the common room and out into the corridor. Draco was stood waiting for the small first year girl to return. The first year didn't say anything.
Draco : Thanks , you don't know how much that means to me .
First year : its ok , anytime.
She ran to the staircase and jumped onto the bottom step just as it had started to move.
Draco sighed and slumped down waiting and hoping Hermione would read the note and meet him outside.
He sighed as in the corner if his eye he saw professor Snape making his way down one of the staircases. He stared at Draco.
Snape : Mr Malfoy , is there any particular reason you are sat outside the Gryffindor common room entrance .
As he finished his sentence Hermione stepped out of the common room.
Snape : Ah Miss Granger. I see .
His cloak swished and just missed Draco's face as Snape turned and walked down the other staircase.
Draco : .... Hermione
He looked disappointed and quite upset.
Hermione : Draco .
Draco : I think....I think we need ...need to talk.
