Chapter 12

When I turned the corner I ran smack into Brittany.

"Watch where you're- oh, look what we have here. Did the freak lose her sight or are you just plain retarded." Brittany said.

"Listen here tramp. I don't have time to waste on you so just move out of my way and mind your own fucking business." I said and my eyes started turning a rosey pink from the red mixing with the white.

"Oh, the little dirt bag curses." She teased, cocking her head to the side.

"Shut up!" I yelled and tossed her into the wall before making a dash down the stairs.

I hurry up and grabbed a blood infused orange or two and ate them as I walked back up to my room. Thankfully, I didn't run into Brittany, but I did run into Jay.

"Hey Jay." I said, but she just walked passed me.

"Rude." I muttered as I kept walking.

When I got back into the room Leo was on the bed sleep in only his boxers.

"Oh my gosh." I thought as I walked to the bathroom to take a quick shower and change.

After I changed I snuggled into the bed next to Leo and closed my eyes. Just as I was on the verge of sleep I felt his arm drape across my waist and pulled me closer to him, and I have to say, that was one of the best nights of sleep ever!

The next morning I woke up and took a shower before going into my closet to grab something to wear for school. I went with the usual black and purple pleated skirt with a white button down and my purple and white Converse. This time I paired it with black suspenders, a black and white fedora and a purple and black blazer.

I curled my hair and put on a little makeup before putting a rubber band on my wrist and heading out the door. I knocked on Savannah's door and she came right out and we both met up with the rest of the gang in the hallway like usual.

"What's up guys." I greeted.

"Hey." They all replied.

"So what's going on today?" I asked.

"Oh, you know, same old same old. Classes arguments with the bishes, avoiding the crazy chick. The regular." Amanda said and all of us started laughing.

We walked to the cafeteria like usual, grabbed our breakfast and sat at our regular table. Everything seemed to be going too perfect. It seemed like I'm not the only one to notice either.

"Hey guys, does it seem a little strange to you?" Jake asked.

"Totally, it's almost too quiet around here." I replied.

"Well, you know what they say. It's always quiet before the storm." Amy said.

"Again with the freaking me out Ams." I said and everybody laughed.

We sat there and talked before the bell rung and we all left for class. Edustudies was freaking awesome. We got to dissect a frog and a cow eye that had venom injected into it. J, Ams, and I were all together and Jake kept on making jokes about it, causing us to stop dissecting it just to laugh.

Mrs.Snow didn't seem to mind much because we were still doing our work but the other kids wern't to fond of it. We finally had finished after a couple of minutes, Jake was playing with the eye when it burst and got on his apron.
