Chapter 19

My anger level was high. I kept to myself because at any minute I could go off and seriously hurt someone. The past weeks have been a haze and I'm not sure what was wrong with me. All I could register was rage and anger. Even the thought of Lilly made my blood boil, both in rage and in lust and I'm never sure which one my body will act on when I'm around her.

The events from the last couple of days were spotty but I knew one thing for sure, now that I wasn't having these weird black outs I had to go see Lilly. With a smile on my face I took the steps two at a time as I made my way up to their dorm room. Upon reaching it I knocked and stood back waiting for someone to answer the door.

The door opened a fraction of an inch before it was slammed again. I stared at it in confusion until it opened again revealing Lilly.

"What are you doing here?" She asked and I furrowed my brows in confusion.

"What do you mean? I came to see you." I replied going to brush some hair behind her cheek but she moved back.

"I don't want to see you anymore." She replied and once the words left out of her mouth my world started to fall apart.

"W-what?" My question was ignored as the door was closed in my face.

I stood there dumbfounded for a minute, wondering what the fuck was really going on! Whatever happened I knew I must get to the bottom of this. I turned on my heels and made my walk towards my dorm.

Upon making my way to my room I bust through the door only to bump into Antonio who gave me a not so pleasant look as he exited the room. I shrug and flop on the bed, my hands fisting against my head as it began to spin rapidly.

The room blurred into swirls of murky colors as flashes of memories played within my mind. The flashing of the images was neither all happy nor sad. They were a perfect representation of our relationship, a bumpy road of mess.

With that thought along I jumped up out my spot and decided to give this another shot. As I made my way to the door, I opened it and was taken aback at who was at the door. It was her. The woman who plagued my thoughts only a few moments ago. Lilly.

"Hello..." Lily said, her voice trailing off.

I didn't reply I pulled her into my arms. My head buried in the crook of her neck. Through my mind I can feel the nervousness and hesitations of hers flowing throughout my mind. Her mind is unconsciously connecting, seeking out mines. There was one thought that stood out from the rest

"Could I trust him"

What did she mean by that? Why did Antonio avoid me? What really happened? Those are questions I didn't have the answer to. Even so, I pushed those behind me and focused on my world that's standing before me. I don't know what to say, so I did the next best thing.

"I'm sorry...I'm really am. I wasn't in my right mindset" I said my voice coming out as sincere as possible because it was pretty obvious that I wasn't myself.

"Damn right you're sorry!" She angrily yelled at me before I felt a sting spread across my cheek. I'm sure I deserved that and much more. And I know for a fact that she was going easy on me.

It wasn't even moments later when I felt her small hands cup my face, tilting my head down and place her lips against mines. Our lips danced against each other as she pulled everything she kept bottled up, anger, sadness, and loneliness but above all the immense hurt she kept hidden away. That alone almost brought me to my knees.

I vowed then and there I will get to know the mystery of what happened these past weeks and spend the rest of my life making this up to the girl I love the most.

Omg wanna thank my cuz @China- for basically writing the ending of this chapter for me cause gosh knows that I was completely and utterly stuck on where to go next although I knew what I wanted in the chapter. *Sigh* This just brings back memories cause without her idea in the first place this book would not have even been created...
