The Silent Bond

✨Chapter - 20✨

The sun had barely risen, but the Rahi Mansion was already buzzing — not with peace and calm, but with madness. The kind of madness only a tightly packed, high-energy family can bring.

Dining Room – Arjun and Arohi are seated, sipping chai like veterans before a storm.

Arjun – "Yeh Abhi, Aru aur Anu abhi uthe nahi kya?"

Arohi putting her empty cup of chai – "Lag toh raha hain warna itni der shanti kaha rehti hain!"

Arjun – "Aree wah mrs. Singhania finally apko pata chal gaya ki yeh do shaitan ghar par hote hue iss ghar mein shanti nahi reh sakti!"

Arohi – "Apke hi bacche hain mr. Singhania! Thode toh guun ayenge hi na unmein!"

Suddenly: A loud thump from upstairs, followed by a crash and a muffled "Uff!"

Arjun - "Lo, Aru ka wake-up alarm baj gaya!"

Arohi - "Bas ab countdown shuru ho gaya!

Aru rushes down half-dressed, his shirt buttoned wrong, one sock missing, holding his phone upside down.

Arjun (In firm voice) – "Kitni baar kaha hain staircase se aise bhaga mat kar. Do you want to do dish duty of one week?"

Aru (gulped in fear) – "Arre bhaiya I am sorry na!! Mein jaldi mein tha toh samaj nahi aya!"

Arjun (Scolding) – "Yeh koi bhulne ki baat nahi hain aru aur tumhe kis baat ki jaldi hain? Aur agar jaldi hain bhi toh jaldi utha karo na. Alarm clock sirf show ke liye nahi diye gaye hain tum logo ko. Nihayati nalayak banate ja rahe ho....."

Arohi – "Aree bas arjun. Kitna sunaoge isse.."

Arohi interrupted him seeing aru's puppy eyes.

Aru (lovingly) – "Aap hi ho Bhabhi joh in hitler se mujhe bachha sakte ho."

Arjun (raised his eyebrows) -accha beta mein hitler!! Ab karo apne Bhabhi ka kitchen ganda phir mein tumhe bachata hu!

Aru – "Mere pyare bhaiya ab bura mat feel karo. Hu toh mein apka aur Bhabhi ka hi bachaa na!!"

He said feeling proud.

Just then, a half-asleep Abhi walks down, hair messed up, stethoscope still hanging around his neck from last night's emergency.

Abhi (yawning, rubbing eyes) - "Kya ho raha hai yahan? Subah-subah kaunse drama ka episode chal raha hai?"

Arohi (suppressing a laugh) - "Live show hai, Dr. Sleepy! 'The Misadventures of Aru & the Hitlers'!"

Arjun (mock sarcastic) - "Bas tu bhi fresh ho jaa warna tujhe bhi is season mein cameo mil jayega."

Abhi (grinning, settling on a chair) - "Only if it includes coffee and no dish duty."

Meanwhile, the only calm presence — Anurag — walks in with headphones around his neck, a notepad in hand, and a quiet smile. He's used to this madness. It's his background music.

Anu (With charming smile) – "Good morning bhaiya and Bhabhi!"

He went towards them and hug them tightly.

Arjun an arohi looked towards each other silently communicating through eyes.

Arjun (Softly) – "Good morning beta! Tu theek toh hain?"

Anu (Smiling) – "Mujhe kya hoga bhaiya? Main ekdum thik hoon."

Both arjun and arohi thought, maybe he was tired yesterday!

Aru (With sarcastic smile)– "Aree baby bro hamari bhi morning chal rahi hain for your kind information."

Abhi nodded his head.
