As Anu stared out of the window, the city lights blurred into streaks, mirroring the storm within him. His fists clenched unconsciously as memories flooded back-his naanu's warm laughter, the bedtime stories, the way he used to ruffle Anu's hair with affection.

He exhaled sharply, trying to push the thoughts away, but the encounter today had shattered the walls he had built around his pain. That man-the murderer-was alive, walking free, while naanu was just a memory.

Anu took a deep breath, feeling the weight of his emotions pressing down on him. He needed an escape, a release-something to silence the storm raging inside him. Anu picked up his guitar, his fingers trembling slightly as they strummed the first few chords. His voice, soft yet heavy with emotion, filled the silent room.

Jhootha jag rain basera

Saancha dard mera

Mrig trishna sa moh piya

Naata mera tera

Naina.. jo saanjhe khwab dekhte thhe

Naina.. bichhad ke aaj ro diye hain yoon

Naina.. jo milke raat jaagte thhe

sehar mein palke meechte hain yoon

Juda huye kadam

Jinhone li thi yeh kasam

Milke chalenge hardum

Ab baant'te hain ye gham

Bheege naina..

Jo khidkiyon se jhaankte thhe

Naina.. ghutan mein

bandh ho gaye hain yun

The words carried the weight of his grief, each note unraveling the pain buried deep in his heart. His naanu had once been his world-his guide, his protector. But now, all that remained were memories, like a fading melody lost in time.

Saans hairan hai

Mann pareshaan hai

Ho rahin si kyun ruaansa

ye meri jaan hai

Kyun nirasha se hain

Aas haari huyi

Kyun sawaalon ka utha sa

Dil mein toofaan hain

His voice cracked, but he didn't stop. He let the sorrow flow through the music, pouring out everything he had suppressed for years. His fingers pressed harder against the strings, the melody intensifying as his emotions swelled.

Images of his naanu flashed before him-the gentle eyes that once looked at him with pride, the warm smile that made everything feel safe. And now, those eyes, that smile, were gone.

Naina.. thhe aasmaan ke sitaare

Naina.. grahan mein
