Guys. guys. guys. I'm so fucking pumped for this story. Like, you don't even know. I hope that this thing works out, and can grow into something great eventually. Any ideas or criticism or whatever... like... Anything really, leave it in a comment below!

... Oh no I'm using Youtube talk help me.

Felix's P.O.V.

All I've ever seen is gray. No color. No life. No difference. Since day one, all it's been is drab shades of gray, like a shitty pencil drawing. Everything's so... bland. So damn boring. It actually makes some aspects of life difficult, such as watching a dark horror movie on the television, or typing at night. Or hell, doing anything at night. At night, everything's fucking black and dark shades of gray. I'll never be able to fathom how much of a dick God must be for designing us like this.

Art isn't interesting because it's all just mottled gray. Everything's just... lackluster.

But... I've heard about this one thing called the soul mate principal. Where... when you meet your soul mate, his or her eyes turn from gray to color. But only their eyes. Then... slowly, everything else changes color too. Say, a flower, or a leaf. Gradually as you become closer bonded with your soul mate the world fades to color.

I've never heard of it actually happening though... Or, at least no one I know has ever had it happen. Not even my mother, or my father. They were forced to marry for financial purposes and I don't think they've ever really loved each other all that much. They're good at pretending, but I know neither of them can see color.

It's just some stupid urban legend according to everyone else... but... I can't help but believe in it... I want to see color. I want to see what I've been missing...

I sighed heavily and ran a hand through my hair, sitting back against the headboard of my bed. I closed my eyes and tried to imagine color. Anything but hues of gray, black, or white... Anything! But... as always... it was to no avail... everything I picture in my mind is... just as bland as the rest of the world. Just as colorless. Just as lifeless.

I exhaled and bit my lip. Then a small ding came to my ears. I glanced at my phone and picked it up, seeing a message from my friend Ken.

'Ken- Hey, Fe. Can ya make it to the park in ten?'

Rolling my eyes and quickly typed back a reply.

'I'll be there in a bit, bro.'

'Ken- K man'

I exhaled and cracked my neck, swinging my legs over the side of the bed and standing up.

I wonder what Ken wants...

Lazily stretching, I walked out into the living room, sliding on my converses and grabbing my keys before walking out the door.

I walked down the pavement. The park was about a five to ten minute walk, depends on which way you go.

My eyes flit around the neighborhood where I lived. Gray. Just like everything else... it was almost depressing, the only color you ever see being gray...

I may be 25... but I'm still not okay with it. Everyone else is fine with only seeing gray... I'm not... and I've been dubbed and outsider because of it... I'm... different.

Then again, I've always been different. Always an outcast.

I pursed my lips and looked down at the pavement, focusing on my footfalls and getting lost in my own little world.

I wondered what my soul mate what look like. If they were a girl or a guy. I'm bisexual... so it doesn't really matter to me.

The people who are straight, I wonder how they react when they realize that their soul mate is their same gender. Like... do they suddenly turn gay? Just poof! I'M GAY!

I chuckled to myself and looked up, noticing I was about a block away from the park; right in front of the old comic book store.

I sighed and bit my lip before walking in. Ken can wait.

The smell of old comics and stale paper hit my nose as soon as the door opened, and I loved it. This place is like a second home to me, because whenever I was bored, or depressed, I would always walk here and get lost in some old comic.

Yeah I know, I'm a geek. Fuck off.

I started aimlessly wandering the old shop, every so often stopping to look at a certain comic or book. Eventually I had found a couple of comics I wanted.

I smiled and walked to the cashier, setting the books onto the counter and pulling out my wallet, not looking at the employee.

"Will this be all?" A deep male voice asked. I looked up smiling, but then my whole body froze.

His eyes... are colored...?

A bright cerulean; with flecks of silver and gold surrounding the pupil.

I blinked, thinking I was seeing things, but no, they were colored. He did the same thing, his eyes widening in awe before he blinked and looked at me again.

He was seeing my eye color too... This isn't a dream...

"Your eyes... I found you..."
