Big Step

The team building exercises were a smashing success, and by the time they were over all of the employees were in an excellent mood. As the employees began leaving to go home, Zarc and his beloved Yuus stayed behind to clean up.

"This was a great idea, Yugo," Yuto said. The blunana beamed with pride, "We should do these kinds of things more often!"

"I think the novelty would wear off if we did it too often," Yuri pointed out. Yuya nodded in agreement, "And as fun as it was, I don't think everyone would be able to make it if we did it too often. Some of the employees have families they need to spend time with."

Yugo considered their points, "True. I guess that's why we don't do team-building exercises that often. But did you see how much fun everyone was having?"

"Oh, yes!" Yuya said happily. "Everyone had a lot of fun!"

Zarc smiled at his Yuus, "Speaking of fun, I had an idea for an activity the five of us could do that could be fun! Yuri, you remember a few weeks ago when my ex was at my front door?"

Yuri nodded, "Yeah, she was crazy! Who rings their ex's doorbell nonstop at 10 AM on a Wednesday when they're obviously at work?"

"And you remember how I mentioned that I was looking at some of the abandoned houses in the countryside?" Zarc recalled. Yuri nodded again, and Zarc went on, "Well, I bought one. It's a bit of a fixer upper, but I think the five of us might have fun renovating it together! Plus, it's a mansion with ten bedrooms and seventeen bathrooms, so if you boys wanted to move in with me, there would be plenty of room for all of us!"

His boys lit up excitedly. Yugo bounced on his heels, "We get to renovate a house and move in together? Count me in!"

"Yeah, I'd love that! Yuto agreed. Yuya nodded, "It'll be a great next step in our relationship!"

"It's a big step, but one I've been ready to take for a long time!" Yuri said. Zarc beamed. "Great! Why don't we meet at my apartment tomorrow, and I'll take you four to the house so you can see it?"

It really was a big step in their relationship, but all five of them were ready. And they all knew that it would only get even better from there.
