~sylvie's point of view~
If you were with me now
I'd find myself in you
If you were with me now
Your the only one who knew
All the things we planned to doI walk with my head hung, flowers in my hand as a song plays in the back of my mind. This is the fifth anniversary of the day my father didn't come home. A tear slides down my cheek as I remember the promise we made the night before. Your getting to be a big girl my little siren. Promise me I will always be your number one man. "Of course I will dad. You will always be my number one"
I want to live my life
The way you said I would
With courage as my light
Fighting for what's right
Like you made me believe I couldI kneel at his grave, flowers in my lap. "I'll clean up a bit first daddy. Can't have you looking like you haven't been cared for" I say before lightly brushing leaves away from the grave. Can I count on you to be my strong little siren. I choke on a sob. "You can always count on me dad"
But I will fly on my father's wings
To places I have never been
There is so much I've never seen
And I can feel his heartbeat still
And I will do great things
On my father's wingsI am to busy cleaning off my father's grave to notice I'm being watched. I lay the flowers on the foot of the grave stone before lighting the two candles on each end of the grave stone. I bow my head in prayer not noticing two figures inching closer.
This world I'll never see
My dreams that just won't be
This horse's stride
with one days ride
Will have covered more
distance than me~kyra's point of view~
I couldn't help myself when I saw Sylvie walking the opposite way of her house after school. I grabbed kari and we started following her. We watched as she bought a small bouquet of hand picked flowers, some wipes, and some matches. "What could she possibly need all those for?" I hear my blond partner in crime say. "She's summoning Satan or something" I blankly tell her. She doesn't look amused with my answer.
But I will fly on my father's wings
To places I have never been
There is so much I've never seen
And I can feel his heartbeat still
And I will do great things
On my father's wingsI groan after watching her sit at a grave for a straight hour. "This is so boring and stupid" I whine when kari punches my arm. "Don't be a bitch. Your the one that dragged me with you to stalk the poor girl" kari hisses. I roll my eyes not admitting she's right.
Someday with his spirit to guide me
And his memory beside me
I will be free to~Kari's point of view~
I watch as Sylvie sits silently as a grave. "Maybe this has to do with the 'five years' her mom said last week" I say to my stubborn sidekick. " tch. Whatever" is her usual reply. "I wonder who she lost" I say trying not to cry feeling her pain. Now I think I realize why she's been so quiet, so distant from all of us.
Fly on my father's wings
To places I have never been
There is so much I've never seen
And I can feel his heartbeat still
And I will do great things
On my father's wings
On my father's wingsI drag kyra to the grave not long after she leaves. I freeze when I read it. "I knew it had to be bad but not this bad" my voice shakes.

The song is "on my father's wings" from the movie quest for Camelot.
I own Sylvie prentiss, her parents, and the plot
Kyra is owned by KyraGasai
And finally kari is owned by KariZvev
