Just another school

~Sylvie's point of view~

They let me off with a warning.....this time. I stay silent knowing it'll be worse at home if I open my mouth. I zone out and think of how I got in trouble in my previous schools. I only snap back to reality when the teacher says "do I make myself clear mis. Prentiss". I blink and I swear I could see him just about to burst. I say nothing to him or any other teacher when they have the same reaction. Ultimately I get sent to the office that the people and I will soon know each other on a first name basis like every other school I've ever been to.

{Detention}

'First day and I get detention.....that's got to be a new record' I think to myself. I lean back in my chair not caring about my "inmates". A few look at me, some try to get me to talk. I simply tune them out. I want to keep my voice hidden from this school as long as I can. Don't ask me why, just seems like fun. They soon give up and all I can do is give them a Cheshire cat grin. As if I'm asking for them to try and figure me out
