2 - Demonic Bands

~~ maybe it's a cruel joke on me ~~

'No , dad you don't get it. They are famous for their 10 inch tall hair and sparkly eyes and good bodies.' I sighed as my dad looked at photo's of Calum Hood. I placed my bag down on the floor and threw myself onto the couch. It was an exhausting day and after school I have to change 3 trains just to get home.

'Well they are good looking boys but im sure their music isnt bad.' My dad was such a postivie spirit I love him but it wasn't helping at all during this situation.

'Compared to All Time Low , im guessing they're horrible.' I looked up to my dad who was biting his lip.

'You didnt even listen to their music?! You know i didnt raise you to be judgemental like this.' He said and i sighed knowing he was right.

'It's just their fans.... They're so annoying. They scream , they yell. Im scared they are another "one direction".' My dad completely ignored me as one of their songs started playing on youtube.

'Voodoo doll. Hmph , i hope they arent one of those demonic bands or something.' My dad mumbled causing me to smile a bit. He had also called MCR emo and Panic!At The Disco goth. Now he was calling 5 Seconds Of Summer demonic.

'No dad , I don't think they're satanists. The media would've caught onto that.'

My dad talked about his thoughts about the music and how it was a bit different than One Direction but my ears were on their music. To be honest , it was nice. Catchy , nice guitar riffs , great vocals , amazing rythm and synchronism. Hey , music is more science-y then it looks.

If people talk to me when music is playing , big chance i wont listen to them. I'll be too busy analyzing the music.

'Considering it's live , this is amazing but... I still think half of their fanbase is there for their looks.' I crossed my arms feeling bummed out again. I'm going to get a lot of hate for being seen with them , aren't i.

'Ori , look at me. You need to give up your pride for those other bands. Yes , i know Metallica has been one of your favourites since high school and all... but you just need to give these Australian boys a chance.' My dad , my eyes nearly popping out of my eyes.

'They're Australian? No wonder they look this good.' I bobbed my head to the side. I had always been curious about Australia. It's so far away from everything and I was wondering how it is over there.

'And Ori I think you should feel honoured. While the rest of your classmates are sleeping during class , you're going to be touring the world , producing music.And you're only 19! This is amazing , even i'm excited!' My dad squeled like a little girl. I sat up and realised what he said was right.

Oh yeah , the reason we are this close is because i was born when he was 17. Yep , 17.My mum gave birth to me when she was 16 and left me on the doorstep to my dad's house and never showed up again. But hey , my dad was awesome and i consider myself very lucky.

Having a 36 year old dad when you're 19 is pretty cool.

'I should probably stalk them on social media like every other fan does. I mean , i am going to be working with them..' I got up from the couch grabbing my laptop from my dad and walking towards my room.

The moment i typed in "Luke" on google , his surname "Hemmings" appeared on the third most searched. Damn , this guy is really famous. Props to him for taking over google while he's only 19. Can't say I'm not jealous.

'Why is this dude so obsessed with penguins , what the actual fuck... WHY IS HE SO FUCKING TALL?! Is it possible for a human to have legs that long...' I thought to myself as i tried to calmly scroll down the images and 'fact's blogs' on tumblr. I mean the usual height of the boys around me is 185cm

'Okay so Calum is Kiwi.. Don't call him Asian , he will be offended Ori and probably never hire you later on.' I also thought to myself reading the facts. I mean to be honest , he doesn't even look Asian to me.

'Michael likes to dye his hair and seems the most fun out of them.' I looked at him. Wow , he was really gorgeous. And by gorgeous i mean , his face was perfectly sculptured.

As i kept looking at their photos i felt like i was becoming one of those girls who liked them for their looks. They were so good-looking , this was going to be hard.

'Ashton is the one with the drumsticks and the one with the thick accent. Okay.' I smiled to myself as i closed down my laptop.

I spinned around in my chair trying to decide what type of music we could produce. Alternative would be amazing with them.They've got the looks and with help of a good team and their skills , they could take over. Seriously , i think they already have.

I opened my laptop back up , deciding to research even more. I wanted more of them. I looked at their songs and listened to their live and studio version of songs. They were good live , which was not common for artists nowadays. Other Artists seem to let autotune do the job in the studio but when its time for live singing , they sound horrible.

Okay now this is the type of music of theirs that should be on the radio. It's amazing. It's pure poetry and i liked it. I'm not talking about "She Looks So Perfect" oh hell no , I'm talking about "Broken Home"

But then i cringed again as i saw their fans run after their vans and do crazy things on youtube.

'I'm never going to get on with this band.' I said putting my head into my hands. I can only imagine how arrogant they've gotten thanks to the female attention they get.

I dont even know why for a second i thought that this might work out. They're not the type of band i want to work with later on anyways.

'Experience is always good Ori...' I mumbled to myself as my dad called me into the livingroom.

'Hey whats up.' I said sitting next to him as he handed me a big ass envolope.

'So this came today from Capitol Records... This is the plan for the tour and what you're going to need AS ONE OF THE MUSIC PRODUCERS!' My dad yelled at the end of the sentence making me yelling as well. We looked silly but I didn't care/

'Rock Out With Your Socks Out , First Stop : New York!' I ran to my room jumping off the walls

Okay so i watched Hick (you know the movie with Chloe Grace Moretz and Blake Lively) and it was actually not as bad as everyone said. Yeah okay , the ending was not as i liked it but i enjoyed the movie.

And I'm secretly hoping that Oriana gets along with 5sos but wow she's got an attitude.
