The festival was on the other side of London so it took a while to drive there. Liam and Maddie didn't come with us, because they were getting ready for a big date at a restaurant I've never heard of; it's in the center of London and supposedly most celebrities dine there for special evenings.

Niall kept bouncing in the back seat, gleefully reliving past experiences he's had at his local fairs. Although I didn't show it, I was excited. What could be cooler than going to a fair with two members of One Direction?

My smile turned into a grimace as I slid against the seat and closed my eyes. My headache was stabbing my right temple and I couldn't tell if it was the cancer or the concussion that made my head ache like this. The only pain I've really experienced with my brain tumor was when I collapsed in my kitchen, and the dull aching that always resides in my heart when I know that I have a limited source of time left.

I greedily clutched my phone and looked at the date; Maddie's big slip-up was last night and early this morning, so I still had only 49 days left.

49 days left to live. 49 days left to experience what others were lucky enough to have an entire lifetime for.

However, already I'd accomplished feats most people could only dream of. I traveled to Europe and only on my first day, I met two members from the biggest boyband in the world!

I chuckled and Harry turned his head towards me, no longer looking at the road.

"What's so funny?" He grinned.

My face suddenly serious, I remembered that Harry couldn't know about my cancer. If he knew that I was dying, he'd probably pity me and view me as some weak creature. Would he even want to be around me if he thought I was leeching off of him to enjoy my last few weeks of life? I most certainly wasn't leeching off of him. My plan wasn't even to meet Harry Styles! I wanted to travel, to see Stonehenge and the glorious British countryside. I wanted to see the Buckingham Palace and watch the changing of the guard. I wanted to stand in the Eye and watch London get smaller and smaller as I was riding in a room on the largest Ferris wheel in the world. I wanted to travel to France and stand atop the Eiffel Tower; and to travel to Germany, and Italy, and Greece. I wanted to travel to Ireland and witness the most gorgeous hues of green that even the photographs can't capture. I wanted to view the ancient ruins of Greece and Italy, the very same ruins that captivated me in my younger years and had me wishing to be a demi-god. I wanted my taste-buds to sigh in pleasure as I tasted foods only gourmet chefs in America could wish to imitate. I wanted to travel Europe and experience their culture in whole.

I never expected nor put Harry Styles anywhere on that list.

"It's nothing," I said harshly. My voice was a little too loud and there was a ringing in my ears. My entire head was throbbing and I hoped that Harry couldn't notice; if he did, we'd go straight to his flat. I don't want to spend the rest of my life in his empty flat. Most girls would kill to be there, but I don't want to end up like some caged animal. I would rather die backpacking through the fields of Scotland than sitting on his couch watching MTV all day.

The rest of the car ride we listened to Niall going on about how this clown made him a balloon animal of an alien once. He wasn't exactly sure on what type of alien it was, but that didn't bother him. The twists and loops of the balloon made it seem like the alien's spaceship could ride on that very balloon animal. And, being a kid, this was incredible! Who wouldn't want to ride in a spaceship?
