"Bye, mom." I said, hugging her tightly. I closed my eyes and tried to imprint her smell and touch in my mind. After what seemed like a long time, we both let go and looked at each other with tears in our eyes.
"Bye, Kristina. Be safe, and don't forget to take your medicine. Have a great time. Don't forget to Skype me every night!"
I grabbed my bags and smiled. "I would never forget. Take good care of Rufus." Rufus was my Golden Retriever at home.
We gave each other one more tight squeaze goodbye, and then I entered into the terminal with my heart pounding. There was definitely no turning back now.
I sent a quick text to Maddie to let her know that I would be boarding my flight soon, and then I took a seat waiting for them to let us on board.
Since it was nearly two in the morning, a part of me was exhausted, but another part of me was super hyped up. I tried to calm down by listening to music, but that didn't work so I got up and went to the nearest cafe.
"Can I have a chocolate milk, please?" The man gave me a tired look but then handed me my milk. I payed him and was about to leave when I heard an announcement on the TV that was hanging above the counter.
"With their new album about to come out, hit boyband One Direction is now enjoying themselves at the studio and at home with their families as they prepare for their next world tour." The lady then began to advertise 'Take Me Home' and I walked back to my seat.
My first stop will be in London, and now it seems as if I might get the chance of meeting One Direction! Of course, this was probably the thought of thousands of girls right now, and my chances were very slim. I'm sure Maddie would force me to wait with her for hours outside of Harry's flat in hopes to meet him. Wouldn't it be funny if we did?
I smiled and drank my milk. Thinking of all these new possibilites gave me new hope, and I couldn't wait to board my flight.
My trip to Europe would be amazing. Just as I had grabbed my phone to send out a tweet, the flight attendants announced that we needed to board our flight. I quickly grabbed my bags and situated myself for what would become a long journey.
*~*-*~*-*~*
I walked off of the plane with wobbly legs. I had hardly gotten up during those hours on board, and now my legs were asleep. The only time I got up was to eat and use the restroom, but other than that, I was sleeping soundly in my seat.
It took a while to get to the back check, but I finally grabbed all of my things. I took a deep breath of London air and smiled. It already had a different feel compared to Los Angeles!
I walked out of the airport and patiently waited for Maddie to come get me. After about twenty minutes I got impatient and decided to check my phone-now updated so I could use it in multiple countries.
"Uggh," I groaned at her over the phone. "You left me a voicemail?"
"Sorry, babe! I have my important classes today. Is it okay if you walk? My flat isn't too far from the airport-I left the key under the mat. Oh, teacher's coming! Bye babe, see ya soon!" She quickly hung up and I glared at my phone. I hope she understands that she won't be attending class as we travel about Europe.
Ignoring my oncoming headache, I picked up my bags and started walking towards the heart of London. I thought about calling a taxi cab over, but every time I saw one, somebody else grabbed it before I could.
"Great, just great. I just entered London, and now I'm already sick of it because of how much my feet are hurting." I sighed and looked at the map I printed off before I went to the airport. It looked like I still had a lot of blocks to go, and it had just gotten very cloudy. If it rained on me, Maddie was going to get it.
I hauled my luggage past this lion fountain and had barely crossed the street when I heard a very faint scream coming from nearby. Shrugging it off, I kept on walking.
I rounded the corner and looked at my map once more; I was much closer to Maddie's now. Folding it up, I smiled and grabbed my many bags once more. This will be great, and by the extra amount of time I will have before she comes home, I will probably be able to blow off all of my steam.
I walked down the small neighborhood street and continued following the directions.
"Help!" A male voice suddenly screamed.
I went rigid and looked around. "Hello?"
Then, the screaming I heard earlier made sense. I heard the screams getting louder and didn't know what to make of it, so I started to run.
"Help! Help!" The physical exhertion I was forced to suddenly do brought on a nasty headache, but I was scared and couldn't stop. I saw Maddie's house up above and sighed in relief, but then a car came speeding through the neighborhood just as the screams reached an all-time high.
A figure came bursting out of an alleyway and tackled me to the ground.
"Oww," I said in a daze. My head was killing me and I couldn't even sit up.
"Oh my gosh. Are you okay? I'm so sorry!" A familiar voice said. My vision was fuzzy and I couldn't make out anything. It seemed as if somebody held up a kalaidescope to my brain.
He swore under his breath and I heard the car screech to a halt next to us.
"Liam," the voice said. "We need to take her to a hospital! Quick, the girls were chasing me and we need to leave now!" The voices got louder and I started to cry.
"My head hurts," I complained as the stranger scooped me up into his arms. He probably tried to put me in his car as gently as possible, but I still felt like my head was being stabbed. The man threw my luggage in the trunk, and then we were speeding across London in a hurry to get to the nearest hospital.
"Simon won't like this," the man said.
Then I passed out in the stranger's car.
A/N: Who do you think the stranger is? :O Just so you guys know, I would like to hold a cover contest soon :) If you guys have any ideas for a cover of my story, please message it to me!! Thanks,
