How many rainbows are
Fluttering like deformed butterflies
On the inside of my headspace,
Beautifully aloof and transient,
Like teacups smashing in a storm,
If science says that white light
Blooms on the retina of my eye
Then passes through
into a kaleidoscope of colours
Into my awaiting brain?
