If I Stay

Chapter 38

During breakfast in the hotel Michkyela and Michelle were being burped by their mother. "What do you want to do today?" Walking up from the table. "Anything but jumping out a helicopter." Giving him a stern look. "What about the zoo? Can we go to the zoo please?" Sounding like a kid. "They walk into the zoo looking at the different things they can do.  There was a money inside of the glass cage that read BUBBLES. "Look kids isn't he cute?" Michael's eyes were excited when he saw BUBBLES.  "Hello little guy." He put his hand on the glass and the monkey went up close to copy Michael. "Awe he likes me can we ask the zoo to adopt him?"  Michkyela ad Michelle smiled at the monkey. "Say goodbye guys let's look at some other animals girls. Michael tagged along and went to see the penguins. He mimicked their movements to make the girls laugh. It didn't work they were to busy staring at the penguins. "Michael they are so cute look at the baby ones." Some of the other penguins were laying eggs keeping them warm. Michael held her hand while time lapsing the whole day at the zoo. " I love your innocent characteristics It makes me happy Mikey."

The thought of innocence made him cringe. "I think we should go." With out questioning he took her hand and flew back home vacation was cut short unannounced. "Michael why did we have to go home? we had a really great time." Slouching on the couch he didn't answer and just walked in the nursery closing himself from the world, looking at the wall again. Kyela was getting worried about Michael's depression and went to check on him. "Michael I know you keep telling me not to worry about you but I have to help you if I don't it'll get worse. Please listen to me." She cried. "I'm going out." He gets up and trails off Kyela blocks the front door. "I'll be ok. Please move." She didn't budge.

"Kye I might do something you might not like." She didn't care all she wanted was for him to stay home. "Don't hurt yourself again it's not worth getting drunk for. I thought we pinky promised not to have any trouble at all before we had kids." Michael roughly pushes her to the side. "It's better than hurting my family." She has no choice but to fight him back to make him stay. "Your really asking for it baby." She gave up crying on the floor. "I'll be back." And Michael kisses her head. Michael asked for two shots of Bud Lights and watching the football teams play on tv he never really cared for football he was just bored. He felt bad for what he did to Kyela but he didn't want to bring problems to her. "It can be hard to forgive yourself over something like this." Kyela's voice echo's through his head. He takes a second shot of Bud Light and walking wobbly to the car. He tried to get to a near by hotel so he won't disturb his family but he was to drunk and missed the turn to the hotel. He opens the door and sees Kyela sleeping by the door the babies were sound asleep snoring.  "Your mine Kye! Remember that." He carries her to the room and Kyela wakes up with something in between her legs. He moaned licking her out. "Michael?" She moaned when he hit the sensitive spot but she moves him away. Michael pinned her to the bed with his strength and she couldn't leave his grip. She wasn't in the mood for sex all she wants is her husband to be safe and sound. "Michael let go!" Trying not to show pleasure.

After he was done with her he leaves her stranded going back to the nursery passed pout on the floor. She thought about leaving him there this time it wasn't worth the energy to push him anymore. She got the babies and took them out of the room so they can be safe. Divorce was not an option after all Kyela doesn't want it to effect the life of her two daughters, she always tries to her best to keep this family strong. At Joey's house they were getting ready to walk around the city to Central Park. The buildings were beautiful  and streets of people filled quickly as they cross the road. The whole entire day was nice they went to visit Kathrine Jackson to invite them for dinner later. "Hi Mrs.Jackson." Welcoming them into her home. "Welcome I want you to meet the rest of my family." All of Michael's brothers and sisters went to greet her Janet was the nicest she was surely going to be her closest sister and law. "Why didn't Michael introduce us to a pretty girl like you. And never new you were married to him, what a shame of Michael he always hides things." Hugging Kyela tightly. "Ohyour babies are so cute! And they look just like you Kye!" Kyela became a little shy. "This is my best friend Joey and they are considered their uncle." Katherine greeted her grand children and rejoiced looking at the faces. "Cute little things." Kathrine was setting the table for lunch. "Thank you for our food today, Amen." Everyone dug into their lunches happily talking and laughing, Kyela just stayed silent. Joey was flirting with one of Michael's sisters. "Um, Kye where is Mikey you should call him down for lunch." Kyela lost her appetite and pushed her plate across the table. "Um, can we speak of that in private?"

They both walk outside and sat on the porch with Jermaine watching the kids. "Is everything alright between you two?" Kyela's mouth got dry and swallowed the lump in her throat. "I tried everything I can do to help Michael with the loss of our son. I fought him from going to the bar to drink until he's drunk. I don't want to divorce him because of my family I have. He still didn't forgive him self he's so depressed Kathrine I don't know what  to do now. He was home drunk twice and he cancelled our family vacation to be in the nursery all day feeling sorry for himself I hate to see Michael sad." Kathrine took her into a hug while she cries. "You are a wonderful wife to him take him to a therapist  to solve his problems." Kyela wanted his mom to visit their house to settle all of this. Kathrine packed to her stuff and took the kids along to. Joey dropped them off at their house waving good bye. Michael was finally awake and shocked when he saw his mother walk in. " Mom!" Giving her a hug and kiss. "Hey baby how are you?" Michael escorted her to the couch. Hopefully this will heal Michael without even thinking about his sons death.

Kyela set the guest room up for her and placed all of her clothing in the dresser and made of the bed. Kyela stared at him smiling because of how happy he was. Michael noticed and waved his hand to her and she sat down. They were being lovey dovey and Michael put Kyela on his lap giving her a quick kiss. Their has clasped together and his childish self showed again playing around and joking. A mother like that should be lucky enough to have him as a son, his sweetness made her melt. Michael took the twins in his arms giving them kisses and making them laugh. During dinner they all laughed and talked while Kyela burped Michkyela and Michelle. "Oh nothing mother me and my sweet girl just went to the zoo that's all we didn't stay to long." He showed her pictures of the trip they had. After dinner they were in bed and Kyela put the kids to sleep. "Michael my precious daughters are final asleep." Michael put an arm around her waste and turned the shower on. "Can I join?" He asked. "Why not." They washed each other off and then just stayed in the shower for a few extra minutes just to enjoy the warmth of the shower trickling down their bodies.

"Michael you really changed today, I'm proud of you." Michael smiled and placed a gentle kiss on her lips. "I'm sorry if you have been hurt I don't want to bring problems to you anymore." Now is the time to tell him about therapy. "You need to go see a Therapist Mikey. We can make an appointment first thing tomorrow morning. I'll stay if you want me to." He lies on his back with his hands under his head. "You don't have to stay I'll be ok."
