The One

Chapter 1

   I thought I wasn't good enough for anyone....then I found him. His brown eyes draw me in all the time. His amazing skin color, his tall body, his amazing smile; I could go on and on about his perfections but that would take awhile. When i'm with him I feel safe. Being in his arms makes me feel like nothing can hurt me. When I kiss him, I feel his love for me. The touch of his skin shows me that he's mine and I'm his. The way he smiles and looks at me expresses that he doesn't regret being with me. The day we met is a day I will never forget....

( A month ago)

   I got called into work on my day off. I was pissed. I had no ride and my brother wasn't picking up his phone. I had no choice but to walk. I hurried and got dressed and then started heading out. I work at a popular hotel that everyone likes to stay at. It wasn't that far of a walk but it was really hot. I get there and there was tons of people inside waiting to be checked in. Then i remembered it was Spring Break.\

  Perfect. What a way to start off my day. And I thought getting called in was in worst...but no....this is icing on top of a horrible day. As I'm checking people in; he walks in. Tall, brown hair, light skin, brown eyes, slim, muscular and an amazing smile. He catches my full attention. As soon as I checked in the last guest I glanced at him. As soon as I did he looked at me as well. Our eyes met for the first time. We looked at each other for a good minute then he smiled at me and turned his head. I began to feel my cheeks getting really warm. He smiled at me! I couldn't believe it. I went back to the front desk and sat down. Five minutes after I sat down, he came up to the desk. I looked at him and I could see that he was talking to me but I wasn't listening; I was day dreaming about him. Then I snapped out of it real fast. The I asked him...

" I'm sorry could you repeat that."

He answered,

" I need to book a room for two nights please."

" Okay, how many people?"

He smiled and said,

" Just me.."

" Okay that is gonna cost $ 130 dollars please."

He gets out his wallet and hands me the money. Our hands touch for a quick second then we parted. I still had to ask him his name for the request of the room; so I asked,

" Your name Sr."

he smiled again,

" N"

I thought I heard it wrong so I asked him again to make sure,

" I'm sorry did you say your name was N?"

Then I asked,

" Is it short for something?"

He shook his head yes and said,

"Cha Hak-yeon"

" Wow, that's an amazing name."

I smiled at him.

" I'll put you under N to make it easier"

He smiled.

I handed him his room key and he said "Thank you" and left. After he left I just smiled. I got off of work at midnight and I started walking out of the parking lot. As soon as I hit the corner of the street a black car pulled up in front of me. I got scared and was gonna run all the way home, but before I ran off; he rolled down his window and I couldn't believe it. It was him. It was N. He looked at me and asked,

" What are you doing out so late?"

I answered,

" I just got off of work and I'm heading home."

His smiled disappeared.

" Your walking home?"

" Yeah, don't have a choice."

" What do you mean?" he asked,

" I don't have a ride and I don't have a car."

He got out his car, put his arm around me and walked me to the passenger side of his car. He opened the door and said,

" I'll be honored to give you a ride home."

I smiled and answered,

" You don't have to, really I can walk, i don't wanna be a bother."

He smiled and said,

" You wouldn't be a bother love and besides..."

He took off his jacket and wrapped it around me,

" A beautiful girl like you shouldn't be out walking late at night; there's crazy people out this late."

He just called me beautiful. As soon as he said that I felt my cheeks get warm up all over again. He actually stopped for me, he actually cared about me walking home. Or maybe he's just trying to be nice. I got in the passenger side and we took off. He was quiet the whole way to my place. It was okay. I would be shy anyway and wouldn't know what to say. I navigated him to my house and we parked in my driveway. I sat there and i was waiting for him to say something but nothing.

So I spoke,

" Well thank you for driving me home. I really appreciate it."

As soon as I was getting out the car, he grabbed my hand. I was surprised and I didn't pull away.

He finally spoke,

" I wanna see you again..."

I looked at him and smiled.

" Really?"

He smiled and answered,

" Yes"

Before I could say anything he said,

" Be ready tomorrow by 8pm. I wanna take you to dinner."

I answered him,

" Okay, I'll be ready."

He smiled at me and then he said 

" Goodnight Beautiful" and then he backed out my driveway and took off.

My heart was pounding. I had a date with the guy that I found amazingly attractive and on top of that he stopped to give me a ride home. That made me smile and I went inside to get some sleep and get ready for tomorrow night.
