I contemplated a way to kill
The pain inside with such a seal
As shadowed slices through my veins
Causing a plethora of scarlet trains

And after the line had been crossed
I lay neath a rock on softened beds of moss
And in this cave within a forest green
Animals came in crowded teams

Rising the next morn with a frosty hue
My scars lay on my arm in a shade of blue
As gold from the sun cascaded in my eyes
Revealing secrets of indigo lies

But afternoon came with an orange heat
With the road peeling skin from neath my feet
Soon violet sunsets cast stars in darkened skies
And the rainbow slices soon shone through the night
