"Hello?... This is she, who is this?"
I just looked at the number and waited upon a response of the caller, I'm guessing the voice didn't snatch my attention good enough because the first thing they said was you know who it is I just shook my head and politely told them no I do not, I mean I have enough shit of my own to deal with and someone playing on my phone isn't one of them. "... It's Kash" I just froze and held my chest as the name released his lips. First thing I did was run into the room Davon and Antonio sleeps in, and noticed they were both gone.... I panicked only for two reasons, one... Ant found out the truth and is there with him, or two him and Davon are his new employees; "w-w-what are doing calling me? How'd you get my number?" I damn near felt myself having an anxiety attack, I had to hurry up and smoke a cig... I needed something much stronger but the way my money is set up I'll fight this monkey off my back. "Don't worry about that, Im just calling to see if this number worked... Nice hearing your voice again" before I even had the chance to say anything, he hung up... I felt something wasn't right, anything regarding Kash Boulevard is never good.

"How much did you sell last night Dee?" As I shot some hoops with my bro I just replayed the entire week, and here it is now Friday... Game night. Just Monday I was joking around and chopping it up with Vic about Friday and how hype I was about it, but who would've thought in that same exact week I'd be a D-Boy or as my newfound pops would say protege.
'"I sold to about five people, almost had six til I realized it was nearly 2 am and I dare not hear mom voice about me coming in that late, I don't know why he won't let us work together it'll be so much safer... And easier" as I nodded and threw the ball to Davon, he had a point... I fear for my brother, and the last thing I want on my conscious is the police snatching him or him getting gunned down by another dealer. "Aye niggas! Yall forgot about a g?" I looked over and seen Victor hopping off his bike and coming towards us, I just chuckled as he snatched the ball from Davon. "Nah dude, just been busy... Ready for tonight?"
"Am I ready? My nigga I should be asking you that... I smoked bout two blunts nigga I'm way too ready"
I just shook my head listening to this nigga, I had told him to quit smoking last year; he can't function when he's high and I'd be damned if we lose our first game of the season to some weak ass rival. "What I told you about that? You know we gotta game tonight... Don't make me tell Coach to bench ya ass, fuck round and be towel boy"
"Ol water boy looking ass nigga"
"Shut the fuck up Dee, least I can ball...but Tony bro I'm gucci trust and believe I'm wired"
"Yeah okay... Whatever you say"
"But anyway... Where yall two mothafuckas been? Yall been late to school, I don't even see yall when we leave what's the deal?"
As bad as I wanted to tell Vic, I just couldn't risk letting him know... Especially while he's high, he's like the local news when he's high. "Just been busy like I said.."
"Yeah okay nigga... Anyway ya girl in town, she came down last night, expected her today but when I heard the door unlock and peeped her car I knew she came early, she just got on the other side of my bed and went to sleep, I almost didn't know she was there til this morning."
Man... Dream.... That baby, like I had already said, I've always had a crush on this girl as long as I can remember, shorty give me this sudden urge to make her wifey.... I sound obsessed, let me get it together. "Oh yeah? That's cool.. Wonder if she missed me"
"Haa yeah right, come by tonight bring some extra clothes and we can play 2k and shit"
Just as I was about to agree to it... I looked over at Davon as he slightly nodded, I wish Dream would've came a week before I got this illegal ass job. "Umm... Yeah I'll have to take a rain check "
"For what? What you gotta do man? You ain't doing shit nigga quit playing, I'll wait for you after the game... Dream can drive us to the crib"
Knowing Vic, he's like the energizer bunny.... He goes on and on and on, no filter or stop button, wish our friendship came with a manual. But, I looked over at Davon and shrugged, he knew Vic wasn't accepting no for a answer so I just said yeah and grabbed the ball from Vic. Davon just face palmed himself and shook his head. "I'll get at yall later.." I just knew Davon was pissed, but what can Kash do? He don't own me I do have a life.. I just forgot about it and headed to practice with Victor.
-Davon
Man.... Tony just had to agree! Over some bitch he'll never fuck though.. Oh well, he'll figure that out on his own, can't believe he chose pussy over money. And since his sprung ass not showing up tonight that leaves me to pick up the slack... I'm new to this, and my nigga I need some help! I wonder if my boy Gerald want to earn some quick cash...
-Tony
I know Davon is severely pissed off at me right now.. But I can't worry about him right now, basketball is the motive for me, and the recruiters are out tonight. I just sat up in the locker room with my head propped up against the lockers, looking up at the ceiling as I do my game day ritual.. "Yo Tony, you good?" I looked up and seen Victor looking dead in my eyes, I mushed his ass cause he was way too close; "nigga move, I don't play that gay shit"
"Chill bro, neither do I; you seemed zoned out"
"You know this my game day ritual, have to remain focus.."
"Word b... I'm just ready to shut them wolves down! Naaa meen!"
I just laughed at Vic he was so pumped up for the game, hell we all were.. The coach came in and told us to surround him, he went over plays again and gave his motivational speech like he do before each game. We prayed and got hyped up as we rushed out of the locker room.
