Ugh, I don't even know why I'm wasting my time with this dude... At first he was interested but now it's like he's always busy! Davon will not fuck me over like the rest, when I want something I get it... So he has another thing coming.
-Davon
Man, that phone call was pure bull, all she did was nag me like she's my girl last time I checked I was single and she had a nigga! I don't even know why she even sweating me so hard about seeing me or coming by she like a squirrel trying to get a quick nut. I don't know what I saw in her, guess because I'm a flirt but damn!!
I saw my brother come back outside, but I just lowered my cap and looked down at my phone as I saw approach him my way. I'm not even in the mood to hear anything this nigga has to say.
"Dee! Let me talk with you" I rolled the fuck out of my eyes but I'm guessing at this point there's no walking away. "Yeah?" I responded nonchalantly, I knew he was about to cop a attitude as soon as I said it only because my facial expression never changed. "What's up with you dude? You've been avoiding me and acting mad weird since last week" I just stood there proudly and not once did my gesture change, I knew the way I was acting was about to piss him off but to be quite frank, I didn't give a damn on how it made him feel..
-Tony
Davon was really testing me this morning, here I am trying to be the big brother here and talk to him about what's been going on, but he's giving me the cold shoulder and acting like what I have to say is irrelevant to his liking. I waited for a response but he just gave me the cold stare until I grew tired of it and walked away, as I made my way up to the top step I looked back and noticed him turning his back and talking to the movers and tending to his phone. All I could do was shake my head and go inside; as I made my way in I noticed my mom sitting on a crate smoking a cigarette, I came towards her and sat next to her on the floor. "You good ma?"
"Yeah baby I'm fine... Just thinking"
"About what?"
"About how proud I am of Davon."
As she said that it was like a piercing feeling to my heart. Only because I always wanted to be the one to make my mom proud but lately she's been so into Davon she praises him because he's out here making an income....illegally! We were suppose to be a team, but I guess Davon handling shit on his own now and since he don't want nothing to do with me that's fine I'll let him learn from his mistakes on his own.
My phone vibrated I looked and seen it was Vic calling, I stepped outside to answer his call.
"Aye bro you still down?" He said.
At first with everything going on I completely forgot what we were supposed to be doing.
"Yeah man" I replied.
"Meet me at the court in 10 b..."
As we hung up, I just looked over at Davon, walked inside to grab my things. And head to the court..
-Victor
"What's up b..." Tony said. I dapped my boy up and we took a seat on the bench. I knew he was nervous about what's about to go down, but I'm going to try my best to look after him and make him feel comfortable about this.
"Shit, chillin I just spoke to Don he want us to come down there asap" I responded.
Don was another well known drug lord who ran the streets of Baltimore but he only fucked with territory, meaning if he caught anyone who isn't from his crew selling on his streets you'll get dealt with immediately. Don and Kash are old school rivals, so I knew for sure Tony was playing with fire by working for Don, reason we had to make sure we keep this on the low. Because, if information gets back to Kash about his own blood working for his enemy there could be hell to pay.
"So who is Don?" He asked.
"He's my old boss, I did a few runs for him two years ago when I was still wet behind the ears and shit but Don gave me the opportunity to make a few dollars and get my feet wet"
"Why'd you stop working for him?"
"I had told him I needed to focus on school, and told him I'm going to be back and hope he has some work for me when I'm ready"
Don wasn't your average mean drug lord, this nigga had a heart when it came to his soldiers only because we made sure we did our job right to keep him from going to jail, we take care of him he take care of us that's how he would put it.
We put on our hoodies and headed to Don's..
-Tony
Vic knew I was scared shitless about this, as we made our way to this vacant condo I was looking around to see if we had the right address. No one was here, until I looked up and seen a tall slender guy open the back door. We proceeded to walk in, this wasn't your ordinary condo nor what I would think as a trap house; this had nice expensive furniture, must give the man his props he had good taste.
We had to get pat down before coming forward into the house, once that was finished another guy signaled us to follow him to the back room where we later came face to face with Don.
He looked up from his books and blew smoke into the air, the hairs on my back stood up as I heard the closing of the door behind me and the click of the lock... I started to sweat.
"You must be Antonio" he said in a raspy and deep tone.
I nodded and tried to not look him directly in his eyes, I fold under pressure.
"So, Vic you've returned my boy... You ready to work?" He mentioned. Vic spoke and nodded, afterwards Don went to pulling out a list and two men came inside with two big bags of merchandise.
"You know the ropes Vic I suggest you show young blood here how it's done... I only have one rule: fuck over my money, and I'll fuck up your life, got it?" He said.
I gulped at what was said, I then notice him pulling out two black .45 caliber's and sliding it to the foot of his desk.
"Take these, for protection... Things changed in the last two years Vic, niggas are hungry and greedy out here and I also have rivals.. Any situation comes up, give me a call" he said.
Vic nodded once more, and they sent us on our way. The tall slender guy we saw at the door name was Frankie, he was the one driving us to the spot where we needed to be, as I put my hoodie over my head and placed the gun in my back pants waist, I looked over at Vic who seemed to of been so calm... Or maybe he was high, but he never smoke before business. He looked over at me, and held out his hand and turned it into a fist, I returned the gesture in a dap and silently prayed for this night to be over before it even start.
