Waking up

Johnny has been going to the hospital for two months now to visit Ponyboy. Ponyboys brothers were always trying to cheer up Johnny, but it never worked he was so depressed from Pony's accident that he too would be in the hospital. Soda started to notice that and told Darrel what was happening, they knew they had to do something.

"Johnny? Let's go see Pony i think the doc said that he might wake up this time."

"Yeah. Okay I'll go, but that's what he said a month ago and it wasn't true."

"I know but you never know."

"Yeah. I guess we should get going now."

Man Pony looks so peaceful, but at the same time he doesn't; why does he have to be hooked up like that.

"Mmmmm....."

"Pony!?"

"J-Johnny?"

"Pony you awake! How are you feelin'!?"

"Not so good."

"Do you need anything?"

"No just you."

"Oh shucks Pony you don't know how much I've missed you."

"Johnny...what happened to me.......i-."

"Oh Pony I'm so sorry for that all I wanted was to protect you, I never meant to hurt you in any way....please forgive me my love."

"I know you didn't mean to hurt me...Johnny it wasn't your fault."

"I know, but I just can't forgive myself."

"Don't worry about that now baby be glad that I woke up and that I'm by your side now."

"Yeah. This time I'm going to be more careful, and I'm going to take care of you; I'm going to be stronger this time I promise you that and that my love for you is worth more then anything else in the world."
