Monday .

I hate Mondays .

I yawned and stretched in my room and found out that my back was cricked , in the most painful way possible .

I had to crawl on the ground and close the widely opened window . I should have known that it was a bad idea to sleep while it isn ' t closed . Idiot .

I rubbed my back and stood up . I got to the bathroom , and saw a note sticked on the mirror after washing my face .

' We are sorry , Eren , Mikasa . Your father and I have to go to France for the newest discovery . We won ' t be back for two weeks .
Bye , take care of yourselves . '

Ugh , for Marco ' s sake !

I brushed my hair and went back to my room to get dressed . I got on grey trousers and a white long sleeved shirt and got my bag . I wasn ' t in the mood for anything .

I slowly opened Mikasa ' s door to her room to wake her up . I was expecting to see her sleeping on her bed , but she wasn ' t even in the room .

" Uh ... Mikasa ! " I yelled for her to hear me .

" Oh , Eren ! I ' m downstairs , come here ! "

I got to the kitchen and saw her cooking stuff and it kind of smelled weird . Not bad though .

" Hey Mikasa . Good morning . "

" Good morning to you too . I just finished making eggs , so sit down . " I sat on the blue chair I always did , and looked at her .

" Have you seen the note in the bathroom ? "

" Yes , I did . We are alone in the house , although no parties or stuff like that is allowed . Only Armin and your so called ' boyfriend ' is . "

" Uh , but Levi probably won ' t ever - "

" Look , Eren ... I think he is not good for you . He looks like a ' Mafia Boss ' , if you know what I mean . So , it ' ll be better if - "

" Dammit Mikasa , we aren ' t even dating ! Jee , you are overprotective of me ! Stop ! " She looked at me , in the ' what the hell ' expression . I shrugged and covered my face , showing her that I didn ' t aprooved of her words .

" But ... you seem like you are ... "

" How ?! "

" Let ' s speak about this while walking . "

We were walking in a painfully awkward silence with Armin . He had came to our house , leaving us not talking about my ' love ' life . Phew . Thanks Coconut .

I took a deep breath and frowned at all the dead , buff coloured plants . I don ' t know why on earth I did , but I empathized with them . I think I ' m turning into one .

" Eren , Mikasa ? Are you alright ? You seem too quiet today . " I gave Mikasa a ' Don ' t - Tell - Armin - Anything ' look , but she unfortunately didn ' t get it .

" You know that Levi guy ? He is dating Eren . " My mouth was wide open and I was feeling betrayal because of what she just said .

" Eren ?! "

" OH MY GOD MIKASA ! WE . ARE . NOT . DATING ! "

" Hmmph . " She crossed her arms and stopped walking .
