• Levi's POV •
What did we just do? Oh good lord. This is real weird. I can't look him in the eye! I am too embarrassed to do anything now!
"Levi? You okay?" I shivered when I heard Eren's voice.
"Um... I... Uh..." I was probably looking like a tomato in the face, so I just looked the other direction. We continued walking out the gym/pool to our school in awkward silence.
"I have never seen you try to speak like that! It feels weird to say this but... uhm... you are really cute at times." I got my hands and hardly pressed on my mouth to avoid any strange sounds that may get out. I'm happy!
"T-thanks..." I spat out those words, closing my eyes and covering my face. I am kind of a teenage schoolgirl when it comes to romance.
"Levi?" A familiar voice said, screaming.
'Not fucking Hanji out of all people!'
"Omgggggg, I KNEW YOU GUYS WOULD BECOME A COUPLE SOONER OR LATER!"
"Shut the fuck up! Eren, I'm sorry, I-"
"It's okay. But who is that?"
"Hanji."
"Heeyyy there! How are-"
"Why are you here?"
"Hey, I didn't even finished my sentence yet! Meanie!" Hanji crossed her arms and closed her eyes, pouting like a child.
"...Ok, but why are you here?" I asked, once again.
"I came to see you! Also I need to talk to you for a second." I turned my head to see Eren looking at me with concern, so I just got his hand, squeezing it gently. I blush more.
"Can you excuse us for a second Eren?"
• Time Skip •
We got to a far away place, and Hanji sat down on the floor.
"Oh my, I am tired. Here, have a seat."
"No. It's dirty."
"Alright. Listen to me now." She put on a serious face, resting her head on the wall.
I crossed my arms, listening to her.
"He is here. Probably to get revenge."
"..."
"We may have to... move to another-"
"Wait."
"Yes?"
"What about... Eren, Isabel or Farlan?"
"You have to... leave them... I am sorry but-"
"No."
"No? This is for our own safety! Think properly."
"I am thinking properly. I am not running away this time. I am going to fight him, and win."
"Levi! This is a matter of life and death! Just-"
"Shut up. It is not just about 'our safety'. He may kill our loved ones to find us. Would you accept that?"
"...Levi, we can't-"
"We can't what? Only thing I'm asking for you to do is to just keep them safe. I'll kill that bastard."
"..."
"You do understand, don't you?"
"I do."
...
We got to where Eren was standing and Hanji said something before running off.
"Eren... Just watch your back." Eren nodded like he knew what was going on.
"So Levi... What is the problem?" There was a short silence between us, making it extra uncomfortable.
"N-nothing. It is just Hanji being paranoid." I smiled, idiotically making this lie seem more suspicious.
"I want to trust you. Can I?"
I nodded softly.
