Running Away

Levi's POV

*snooore*

I open my eyes to the sound and find Eren just inches away from my face. I yelp and throw myself back. I fall on the ground with a low thud.

"Huh?.. Levi?" Eren shots open his eyes and straights himself up.

"What happened?" Eren looks down at me from the bed. I blink two times and yawn.

"I panicked. Nothing more, nothing less."

"Uh... Ok... Why did you panic?"

"You were too close and I forgot that I was in this bed with you."

"Oh, right." Eren blushes.

He notices the grin I grew on my face.

"What?"

"Oh, nothing." I pull him close, getting his hands and putting them on my face.

"Hey... I had a nightmare..." Eren says while looking outside the window with his glassy eyes.

"Yeah?" I sat on the bed next to him.

"I was in an alley. You were also there, and someone attacked us. I tried pulling you with me when I got out of that persons grasp, but you pushed me and yelled to me, saying that I should leave you there and run. I didn't, then the attacker shot me with their gun. Stupid, huh?"

I stayed silent and listened to the birds outside chirping. Is there a chance of him seeing the future? No, right?

"Levi?"

"Yea- no. At these days, I care about what you feel or do. I always do, but this is for another reason, you see..."

"I... What is going on, Levi? Talk to me in a clear way."

"Eren, don't worry. I am just paranoid, that's all."

"About what?"

"It's not important, don't-"

"I want to know! Come on!"

"Look, you can't understand." Eren breathed out angrily and shaked his head.

"Why can't I understand?! Is it something I did? I am sorry, but I can't know what I did wrong until you say so. Are you going to do something to yourself?!"

"What are you implying?"

"The exact thing I said! I can understand anything! I won't react badly!"

"Eren, stop. I can't tell you what's going on."

"You don't trust me? For me, you're the only one that needs to know what I'm doing! You don't feel the same way?"

"I do. I just don't want you to think of me as a crazy person."

"Yeah sure. You are exactly saying that you don't trust me!"

"No I'm not."

"Yes you are! You are expecting something bad so that's why you are not telling me anything. I can understand for Maria's sake!"

"No."

"Fine!" Eren got up and went to his bathroom.

"Shit, wait."

He slams the door and locks it. I knock three times and wait for him to respond.

"Oi... Eren. Come out a second."

He doesn't say anything.

"Eren."

"..."
