It's been two weeks now and everyday I've been sick. I get up at 6am run to the toilet and vomit. Today was Wednesday and I had a doctors appointment after class. I headed to the doctors and waited. My name was called and I headed in.

"How can I help?" Dr Hanson asked with a smile. He was old and looked friendly.

"I've been sick for about a two weeks now" I answered.

"Ok are you sexually active?" He asked me I was shocked at how he could just say that.

"Yes" I said shyly.

"Ok we need to do a pregnancy test"

"But I'm on the pill" I said staring at him, but I also realised my period never came this last cycle but I was so busy I forgot.

"The pill isn't 100% " he said with a sad smile.

"Ok" I said nodding my head. He handed me a jar and I went to the bathroom I cried while I peed in the jar. I gave it to the nurse who gave me a sad smile and she rubbed my shoulder and gave me some encouraging words. I headed back to the doctors office and he talked to me. He said if I'm pregnant I need to take vitamins and shit like that. The test came back and it was positive he then proceeded with a blood test. He calculated my due date which was 14th of November. I had to stop the pill and he gave me something for the sickness.

When I got home I rang mum, I told her everything. She said that we can handle this but I also told them I didn't want Gino to know. We hung up after that and she told me dad and her will organise everything. I told Renee and Cameron and they helped me pack my stuff. Dad rang that night and said the jet will be there in the morning.

I had a restless night and by morning I was exhausted. Renee and Cameron came with me to the airport. Mum and dad came down the stairs of the jet and gave me a hug. We said our goodbyes and left.

"We're sending you to America to Texas" he said.

"Why?" I asked confused.

"So Gino won't find you" he answered.

"Ok" my dad explained how I'm going straight to America and I will have the baby there. The flight was long from Australia to Texas. We landed and one of the ranch trucks was waiting for us. Out stepped a tall cowboy, he smiled when we approached him.

"Good afternoon" he drawled in his Texan accent.

"Hey" dad said shaking his hand. We got into his truck and headed to the ranch. The ranch is big, they train horses, breed them and have cattle. They sell and buy them as well. They are like our tenth cousins or something. Mum and dad only could stay for 4 days. After they left Jasper that's the ranch owner's name and I sat down to get to know each other.

One month went by and mum rang every night to see how I was. Renee and Cameron also rang when they could. Dad talked through mum and Matt rang as well. Jasper and I became really good friends and I worked as his accountant. I looked after his books for his work which kept me busy. The doctor in town was really nice and young. He flirted with me the first time and Jasper told him off.

It was June now and dad rang instead of mum. "Hey dad" I said smiling.

"Hey baby how are you?" He asked.

"Good"

"There's something I have to tell you" he said and he sounded a bit worried.

"Ok dad just tell me"

"Gino turned up yesterday demanded to know where you were" dad announced my whole body tensed. "I told him that I didn't know where you were that she left saying she needs a breather and that is all we know"

"He must've got a private investigator or something" I said while biting my finger nails. He said he wasn't going try and change my mind. Dad answered my question that before I could ask him.

"He apparently misses you and he wants you again. But he won't find you sweetie Walker knows he's looking for you and he'll put a stop to it"

"Ok" thank god. I don't need the stress at the moment.

"You might have to stay there a bit longer after the baby is born, sorry" he said sadly.

"Ok I understand" I said sadly too. We talked for a bit longer and soon we had to hang up.

I've got a scan tomorrow morning so I headed to bed, my sleep was plagued by Gino. When morning came I didn't want to get up. Jasper took me to the doctors and stayed while I got the scan done. They confirmed that the baby was a girl and she looked healthy. I was so excited. I told mum that night and she said she'll tell Renee and Cameron. We got home after that to have a nice lunch. By night time I was tired so I headed to bed and crashed.
