The Day I Met Zoella (Zoella FanFic)

Chapter One

A/N: Heyyyy guys! So I won't really be doing authors notes but I might as well do one for the first chapter :) I don't really know what to say besides hope you enjoy it! Also, this whole story will be in Alex's POV unless I've put someone else's in :)

"Dad don't!" I shouted. But it was too late. My dad had killed my mum. I sat there, holding my knees up to my chest. I couldn't believe what I just had experienced. "Alex!" My dad shouted while he was being taken out of the house by police. "I'm sorry." Those were the last words I heard him say. Now here I am in an orphanage.

"Alex, can I come in?" Lucy, the person who works here at the orphanage, knocks on my door. I see Lucy like a big sister that I never had. I was the only child in my family. Although, my mum was 6 and a half months pregnant with another girl but she also died when my mum was killed. I still don't know how she was killed.

"Come in!" I say. Lucy walks in holding a tray of pasta and a glass of water. "Thought you might like some dinner." She says placing the tray of food on my bedside table. "Thank you." I say and Lucy walks out. I open up my laptop and go straight onto YouTube. I go to my Subscriptions and add a heap of videos to my 'Watch Later' playlist.

The first video at the top of my list is a video from Zoella. My idol. One day I really hope to meet her. The rest of the playlist has videos from Zoe's friends like Alfie, Joe (her brother), Louise, Caspar, Tanya, Naomi, Jim, Marcus and heaps more! I set up my laptop to my computer so I can watch it while I eat.

About 1 and a half hours later I am updated on all my YouTube videos and have finished my dinner. I go down stairs to the kitchen and put my dishes in the dishwasher. I check the time on the clock to see that it is 9:00. "Well I might get going to bed now Lucy. Night!" I say while walking back up the stairs to my room.

When I reach my room, I go to my computer and check twitter. I see a new tweet from both Zoe and Alfie:

What could be so exciting? Oh well, I guess I'll check in the morning. Since I wasn't too tired I decided to keep looking at my twitter and decide to favourite and re-tweet some other tweets. At around 9:20 I decided that it's time to go to sleep. I shut down my computer and go to my bed. I get under the covers and fall asleep.
